Brugmansia warning

Please don`t do it if you think you wont be able to distinguish between the different worlds, Just red a report about a poor bastard on erowid. Honestly, Daturas and the likes made me insane and still does.
It takes the sheer strength of will to see yah through. That`s what does it, willpower, and the plant depletes most of it, the poor fella couldn`t tell what was what, and honestly beleived he smoked loads of cigs that night.
I grow the plants, and if there is anything it teaches you it`s respect.

For gods sake, please, dry your foliage somewhere outside or in another room where your not present, i cannot believe it. I keep getting high from my propagator, last time it happened was with datura extraction process, it`s quite nice though, i`m use to it.

First time I harvested several kilo's of innoxia I still lived with my mother. I dried them out in my room and was extremely altered for several days. I am going to move this thread to the ethnogarden too.

Interesting, about the vapor being intoxicating. I have a brug cutting I rooted but have no plans to ever try it. If you just want to trip on the cheap, try salvia. That will take you farther out than you ever planned to go and it won't harm your body or brain. Does the perfume from the flowers have an effect? is it harsh like eating the stuff?

in no way can it be compared to eating it. and no one mentioned the desire to trip for cheap. it's just an interesting thing to point out...

i have always thought that was placebo... or wasn't it? anyways, many times i have had to thin out my brugs and i ended up having lots of physical contact with the plant and sometimes its juices when carrying around the thinnings to the pile...
but i have never come far enough to feel more than a slight buzz...

Do you think burgmaisa vs datura trip differ from on another? Say both made into tea.

I had something like a garbage bag of 2 datura plants i collected and had them drying in my room spaced on cardboard. About a 2 hours later i had a slight headake and had to lay down on the bed looking up at the cealing it was spining back and forth. I could not figure out what the hell. untill i got from bed i could not sleep i moved the foliage out and went for a walk. I felt better about 1 hour later.
