will transplanted mycelium colonize a fresh jar?

if the answer is yes, my second question is if this processes will be faster than direct spore injection.

Yes plus you can save your spores and inoc jars just with some mycelium. it seems to go pretty fast

you have to be sure everything is sterile. search for "grain to grain" and hit up the faq.

Yes, and it goes faster because of course the spores dont need the initial time to germinate. Sterile procedures are still critical.

BIG YES!

I had a 1 pint jar of WBS that did not start. I put in it a piece of myc the size of a pencil eraser 5 days ago. It is now about 50% colonized.

It's getting time to shake the jar. :wink:

I use 4 to 1 ratio 4 best results. 1pnt 100% break up and use 4pnts in ziplock and bammm! I leave in the dark for 3-5 days. I double end case, then take it 2 the fruiting chamber. And 4 the newbies, if you grind up the br u get faster results. Just trying 2 give a helpin hand yo...
