This is after 10 days of colonization. They appear to be cotton and not as of yet throughout the substrate after the 10 days. It smells fine and I put it back into colonization. Plz let me know what you think 🤔

They look fine, let them ride and do their thing. Some of my varieties don't completely colonize the top of the substrate before putting out fruits. Knots will show up where the top layer looks untouched

Thanks for the heads up. I keep the temperature at 77 however it does seem like a slow colonization 🤔

It could be slow due to the uneven surface of the tub. The grains and coir might also not be mixed evenly underneath the surface causing the patching.
