Hmmm here are my results...
Economic Left/Right: 0.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.82
...but I think a lot of those questions are badly worded or make erroneous assumptions. For example, this one:
Many personal fortunes are made by people who simply manipulate money and contribute nothing to their society.
Even though I agree with this statement, I don't think it's a bad thing. And answering this questioning with Agree would most likely push you further left on the economic scale, when really I could care less how people get their money or how much they contribute to society.
There are a few others like that but that's just one example. Someone needs to come up with a better test, IMO.

Yes, many have pointed out the sloppy wording on many of the questions. Some of them are phrased so badly that (for me at least) there is literally no way to select an answer that accurately reflects one's beliefs. Unfortunately, you can't be scored unless all the questions are answered. The economic part isn't too bad (although there are still some stinkers in there), but a lot of the questions on the personal freedom side definitely have inbuilt assumptions and biases. If you guys say some of the questions have changed, I'll try to find the time to take it again. pinky

I agree.
Like these gems:

I really don't think it is accurate though. Some of the questions are about your basic beliefs and not whether you think government should act on them or not.

It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. I don't want to divert the nature of this thread but it is a statistical fact that the more 'fiscally conservative'(see: economically free) a nation is, the more prosperous it's people are. I see no reason for this trend to reverse past a certain point.
Tell me if you want to discuss this further...either me or you can start a new thread, etc.

Socialists
Socialists such as the one shown in your picture do not live by the rules they set for others.
