Weird growth in grain jar

I was wondering if anyone knew what was up with this jar I started some from an agar plate and all look great with well defined sections of bright white among uncolonized grain but this jar has tons of little white growths the entire jar looks slightly white as if it's fully colonized waiting to condense but it felt odd for it to be close to done with all the rest at around 50% or less and I've never seen the spots that I'm seeing in this jar before

That yellow is a sign of contamination.

I zoomed in and I cant see shit
Experience comes from age but it also takes away your eyesight
I think its fair to say, that you should take a closer in focus picture of the perceived contam
Im squinting and looking as hard as i can but i cant see no yellow contam

It's not your old age mate, there is not yellow contamination. The only yellow thing is a piece of agar 😉

It is contaminated. Not sure with what but this is not mushroom mycelium. The presence of white flecks and the absence of typical mycelium growth suggest potential issues as well. It’s not too essential to identify the contaminant to determine the appropriate course of action. Discard contaminated grains.

Oh good eye. The part you circled looks like some mold I grew. Aren't white specs, like sand, also a sign of mold?
