sex is taboo because americans are puritanical freakazoids who refuse to accept their own sexuality.
further burying it doesn't solve the problem, it simply exacerbates it.
you are what is wrong with america today.
it's parent's responsibility to raise their kids, not the state, if they can't do the job, unfortunately, the kids pay the price, but, again, it's not the state's responsibility or fault....it's the parent's.
keep your government out of my fucking livingroom.
move to sweden if you want big brother to coddle you more.

Yes, I am still reeling from the implications. Oh, wait, you did say youngsters...
The same week, the 80s mini-series Chaka Zulu was on broadcast TV showing hundreds of firm young African breasts and nipples. Seems only American celebrity breasts are off limits.
Have any of you watched this seasons "Nip/Tuck" TV show? The sex scenes would have gotten an X rating 30 years ago and far surpass any graphic activity ever displayed on broadcast TV.

If the parents want to have their kids listening to Howard Stern thats their decision, but if they have a radio in their room while their parents are sleeping, they can listen to him at night after the parents sleep. Im sure there are plenty of other scenerios as well.
Everyone should suffer becuase some asshole parents want there kid never to see what there is in life. Stern has a right to free speach, if everyone wants him off the air everyone should stop listening. I cant do anything except write a letter or vote when i dont like somthing they should do the same.

They push the limits further and further, somebody has to draw the line or else they go as far as they are allowed to. These are public airwaves, controlled by the FCC, so they have to be within the guidelines. I cant go out with a truck and a loudspeaker throughout the city saying sexually explicit things without consequence.

you clearly dont listen. they dont push it further the show is way tamer these days. and they dont even know what the limits are. the fcc is setup to be used as a political punishment. they dont have set regulations other that, you shouldnt say something that is indecent. why let unselected officials decide what you think is indesecent thats up to you to do. no one in the fcc was elected or has any credentials, michael powel is only the head of it b/c he is colin powels son. it is known in many areas of the media suckh as news and radio, you cannot preach the truth if it strongly goes against what the rich and others in high level of government think, or you will be destroyed. the only way you can challenge America is to be known and respected by stern, but still they attack him using their dogs at the FCC. he has violated laws that dont even exist. this is a witch hunt they hate him because he is a hook nosed jew that looks like a witch. and he left his almost always conservative political view points to come out against bush. the day he did this he was fired from every swing state that clear channel has him in. this is clearly political and has nothing at all to do with decency, if you think it does you are a blind sheep just like most of America.

FCC has regulations for people to abide by, and they just havent been enforced. It took the broadcasters all these years to finally piss off the FCC enough to make this an issue. The FCC should have been enforcing these regulations a long time ago, so it wouldnt have gotten to where it is today.

Maybe not with loudspeakers(that could generate a noise complaint, which of course is entirely dependent on zoning restrictions), but I'm sure you could walk through the street saying those things, without facing any consequences other than wierd looks.

No, kids can be walking around, you cant, cops will give you a warning to stop. If you continue they will take action.
