First 4 pics are PE and other 3 pics are APE.
The PE has a furry looking myc, but not too concerned as last time the myc was a lil furry…. But the PE has a lot of water in this bag for some reason…
I’m not concerned on the APE, looks good to me
Anything looking concerning? Gonna try a 1:3 spawn to coir this time
PE

Looks kind of bacterial to me. Top fruit it or gamble and just go for it.

Yeah it's bacterial but i've spawned worse. Would spawn each to its own shoebox tho'. Also wouldn't go above 1:2 ratio.

They're all slightly, but consistently bacterial. I had similar problems in the past. It may be that your sterile technique is good but the inoculant was slightly dirty.

Why are they bacterial? I sterilise the bags and the inoculation ports heavy and the LC syringes were brand new and sterile. Unsure where I’m going wrong!!

Also, what signs are you looking at that it’s bacterial? So I know for the next batch

Why wouldn’t you go above a 1:2? Last time it was blob central so thought I made it too “rich” so thought would be better with a higher coir

Did you test the LC on agar first? Vendors lie and/or are incompetent.

The wet looking spots where the grain is pressed against the bag is the symptom that says bacterial.
You can not count on purchased LC syringe to be 100% clean no matter how hard the vendors try. LC should always be tested on agar before use. Can also be caused by poor aseptic technique when you inoculated them.
As for the 1:2 ratio, higher spawn to coir ratio means less time to colonize and helps get fruit from less than perfect spawn.
