Hi again! I'm going to be doing some lsd soon and I'm wondering, how badly do I need a trip sitter? Will I leap out of a window thinking I can fly without one?

It'd be a good idea for your first time, just to be safe. A good friend.

Dude the only time I suggest you have to have a trip sitter is, when your doing it for the first time. Or if your going to try to take a high dosage. Besides that if you have tripped before you know whats going to happen. So I figure you should be ok by yourself. I have tripped alone many times even...

What they said. LSD is fairly safe to do by yourself at low doses if you've done it before.
Anything that hits you really hard and fast requires a sitter. So do the deliriants, such and dramamine and datura.

Most hits I have taken, and tripped by myself. Were like 6, or two gels. Of course, I have tripped on acid sooooo many times...

I wouldn't recommend a trip sitter unless you are unstable. As said above DMT/Salvia (I didn't have one when I experimented with it)/other tryptamines I would want somebody there for support if nothing else because of the extreme blast into the hyperdimension. You should be fine. As to the "will I leap out of a window" comment, I don't know, will you?

a trip sitter is essential (on the periphery) when you have entered level 6 - you could easily wander outside naked and try to eat moving cars. unpredictible events can be better managed with a sitter on the periphery.
for salvia there are only about 3-6 minutes at the beginning when the sitter needs to be mindful of your delicate state.
sitters do not need to be in the same room.

I had a trip sitter the first time I ever did mushrooms...I don't think I'd ever need one again on mushrooms or LSD (unless it's a concert situation where I might want a sober friend around just to deal with confusion.)
But lordy lord, if you ever take Salvia, have someone who's real nice and good around...I had a mind-ripping fear-of-God experience and if it hadn't been for my friend Matt, well, I would have come back, but probably would have been way more confused.

Few substances are ever going to get you to a non-toxic psychedellic state equivalent to the potential of salvia divinorum except LSD. You can survive the level 6-amnesiac states, with 100% healthy body and mind restored in minutes, and you can achieve severe entheogenation like this fairly easily, even accidentally if using lots of extract. Most other substances will make you physically sick much earlier than level 6. At Level 6 the overlay trails of experience and memory are so thick you have no ability whatsoever to determine what is actually going on. NONE. It is a short lived experience. On any other substance you would probably be cramping or vomiting for hours and that would ground you. Salvia, at level six, is like an indefensible laser beam that will cut the machismo inclined person at the knees and then the fun begins. I do reccommend a sitter, at least until you get your dosing right and then again each time you get new stuff. Personally I like to tell my wife to watch over from the next room for a few minutes. It is effortless for her. Also I think level 4 or 5 is plenty. For LSD you need to be looked over for ~2 hours after the first 45 minutes. again it is dosage dependent.

Yeah, you should really have a sitter when you try new drugs until you are comfortable enough with the drug to do it alone or in a less secure location.

If you think you can fly, try to fly off the ground first i never did get why someone would jump off a building to see if they could fly but i don't even know if that actually ever happened because it started circulating the same time as chromosone damage, the spine shit, and arsnic myths

And then there were the people who went blind staring at the sun while on LSD.
I've heard this story a lot. Probably a myth.

I've never used a trip sitter in my life.
If you do get one, just be careful who you pick.... Make sure they arent the type of person to try to freak you out and do stupid shit to try and bugg you out. If you get a trip sitter I would only recomend someone who has much experience with the substance you are taking, and is chill. Its better if you just trip as a group though, share the wealth

the first time i tripped on mushrooms i had a sitter but he fell asleep, but it was still good to just have someone there just in case. i probably will trip on shrooms by myself from now on, cuz people (at least at my age) will get annoying and tend to be immature.
im PROBABLY getting acid soon (cant get my hopes up), is it any different than shrooms in terms of a trip sitter?
