Larger lab/ incubation room or larger Fruiting room?

Question about fruiting, lab and incubation rooms. I have a 8'x4' grow tent and a 4'x4' grow tent. Right now I have the larger text set up for my Fruiting chamber and my smaller tent set up as a lab my question is would it be more beneficial for the larger one to be used for the lab and incubation? I feel like as a Fruiting room there is a lot of wasted space. I know it's my set up but just wondering if anyone has any input.

Cubes in a couple monotubs. Maybe some gourmets as well. I just fruited some lions mane but no crazy quantities.

Sounds like you need to make more spawn to fill out that fruiting room.
I mean fruiting technically takes up more space and is more dynamic in how the layout is going to be depending on what species you are growing and how you divide your spawn up amongst the trays and tubs. Your spawn holding area is basically just going to be a shelf where jars come and go. The lab equipment may get upgraded occasionally but for the most part will stay the same. I'd say keep the larger space for fruiting and start making more spawn.

Thank you! I'm working on getting more spawn. I am attempting agar. First round was not good. Didn't have a PC, didn't know about streaking the plate. I recently made my first batch of agar (I bought pre poured before) and I streaked those a few nights ago. So hoping for a better outcome this time around. I have 2 grain bags I just broke up about 3 days ago they are starting to moving quickly now so fingers crossed for those. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
