I confess I complained to Vivosun about the tent being 1/2" short.
They asked for a picture of the measurements and the serial number. Refunded the money, called it a manufacturing defect, and gifted the tent.
Also, lmao Beef!

I confess that I found a couple of forgotten grain jars of nats whilst cleaning up ready for my next spore run, noticed a lot of tiny fruits, guessed them at about 10g, and made tea.
After Sunday lunch I decided to drink the tea expecting a slow come-up (full stomach) and a gentle buzz through the evening. It started to hit in about 10 minutes and I was tripping balls all the way through to 10pm with strong visuals and insane laughter.
It's now 15 hours later, my jaw aches from all the yawning, and I've got 20 jars to prepare, fill, and PC today.
I still have no idea what hit me - either I guessed the weight wrong, or the tiny fruits that grew with minimal water were incredibly strong.

Mycelium of several psilocybe species have maois. I confess I use a UV light to examine this in my Tamp jars. My older stone jars glow more under UV then my young ones.
I suspect Nats transport the maois into the fruits based on experience reports in the Nats thread. Could explain the long duration from an old jar.
Could also mean if you spawn those grains you would basically have psilohuasca fruits.

I confess I misread the duration above.
Lunch till 10pm. Depending on when lunch was eaten, is about 8-10 hours.
Still very interesting. RevMyc is running grain jar tests on semps and tracking the increase of actives over time. I think this could also lead to stronger fruits in some species.

I confess I went to clean out a bacterial jar of grain this morning but instead butterfingers’d it and smashed it all over the kitchen floor. At least it was a small jar.. but still.. UGH. GROSS.

I confess, I spawned my first untested PE culture at way too low of a ratio while knowing the potential outcome. 6 mycoquarts of spawn to 900g of coir and 3 quarts verm in a 66qt tub. Compressed the shit out of it and had about a 1 inch pseudo casing but then at full colonization I didn’t case it even though I had some jiffy mix on hand for that exact purpose.
And what do ya know... blob city

Looks like there’s a few clusters of regular looking fruits so I might clone them to see if they grow out better next run with a higher spawn ratio. Fug it tho, I still like eating blobs, just not as pretty lookin.

ive never been convinced that ratios do anything with blobs. nicest straight up pe tub i ever did was at 1:1 with no layer... pretty much, i hate pe.
like.. when are we--as a community--going to just finallly say enough is enough. start over. Lets go back to spore and just start the fuck over.
Yeti never does me dirty like pe do.

Melmak is so much better than PE. Still get huge, grows fast, and the potency will melt your face off. Edit: oh yeah, and no blobs

This is why I just buy cultures already done. (Pulled this straight from the “rich man’s guide” 😉 🤣) I’ve never had to deal with blobs. Even going back to spores I don’t. They’re already so stabilized. Regardless, I still find PE boring. I just got some APE 338 swabs. I am a little bit excited to see how those turn out though, I must admit. Hopefully dope so I can hand some spores out to the community!
And my melmac OG is straight fire!

I also confess it was a PE LC from a vendor. So it being my first go with PE I was hoping I’d get a tub of dicks without all the trial and error, but god damn it was the slowest culture I’ve ever ran.
I’ve got some Jack Frost and Malmac swabs going to agar this weekend, so we’ll see if they’re any kinder to me

I got a really great PE Lc from a vendor. PE7, I highly recommend it. It’s not slow by any standard. Actually fruited before my stargazers that were done at the same time.
My confession is I shot lc into 10 Qt jars, straight to grain! Then did G2G into bags containing 3qts of rye per bag. I didn’t lose anything to contaminates and the end results are overwhelmingly positive!
Shoutout to Beefy! Your tub tek made the end game absolutely phenomenal!

If a cube requires special conditions I usually don’t mess with it. Never grown PE for that reason.

I’m not doing anything different. This culture I got grows just like any cube I’ve ever grown. I did a run of stargazers side by side and the PE7 blew it out of the water.
Full disclosure, this is the first time I’ve ever tried PE so I’ve never had a negative experience with it.

I grew PE in the exact same conditions as the rest of the cubes I grew. Sometimes I got blobs, sometimes I got massive tubs of dicks. Ultimately it didn't really matter since it all got ground up into chocolates and caps anyway.
