Hi all,
PE here. This jar has been inoculated on 27/01; can you check these 3 macro pictures and give me a feedback? Does this seems healty to you? Also in the last picture the whole jar: should I send it?

I would wait for another opinion, but those don't look to good to me. It looks to wispy to me to be the mycelium we want, and a lot of wet uncolonized grain in those jars. I think they are sus but I would wait to do anything drastic until you hear from a more experienced cultivator, as I am new to the PE varieties. But it does not look well from my point of view.

My PE’s look whispy like that after shakes and breaks. Did you recently shake them up? I would give the last jar some more time for sure. What are your temps in the room?
Edit: if you have not shaken them, shake them.

Yes, I've shaken them around 20% colonization; after 1 day I could see just a slight recovery in some grains, after 2 just a bit more... this is 9 days after the shake.

I can’t say for certain if the myc looks bad or not, to my knowledge it looks okay. Even if it is good though it is not ready to send, there are way too many uncolonized grains. I’ve had jars take up to a month to fully colonize but if those grains still have uncolonized spots after some time that’s a clear sign of contam even in the absence of goo and other indicators.
With all that in mind, as long as there’s not like mold/bacterial goo actively forming in there I think it’s still okay to EVENTUALLY spawn to bulk. You’ll still get a good haul you just probobly won’t get those sexy canopy flushes you see on here.

Anyone that wants to give his feedback also?
Do it's not everytime that one gets condensation inside the jar when the grain are contamined?

What temperature is the room where you’re storing the jars? Are they getting 12 hrs of sufficient light? Did you use MSS or LC? If you answer these questions you will get a better answer.

that actually looks healthy to me. dont worry about the wispy myc. it can change appearance on grain anyway, its unpredictable. it just looks not done yet. wait until it fills out and consolidates more. i would hate for you to waste that.

Around 20° celsius, I think they are, indirect light, MSS with agar as media, tiger dropped info the jars.
I'll take the opportunity to ask you guys also about the second PE jar, which seems to have stalled after the shake. Both inoculated on 27/01, shaken at 20%, same conditions. Do you confirm that I should just dump it right away? Not a good feeling, of course. : \

When we’re these shaken? The initial growth can be slow but you should see pretty rapid colonization after the shake. Imo almost a month with this little growth would concern me.
Also regarding your question on wetness in the jar, from what I understand that is also a sign of contam. I’m not talking about the wet grains pushed up against the glass, which is more severe, but the condensation like moisture. I believe this is created from heat generated via myc fighting other contams but I’m happy to be corrected. Either way, I have spawned jars that were fully colonized with this moisture present and have still gotten respectable yields across multiple flushes.

They were shaken the same day: 12/02 and were inoculated the same way and the same day. The first jar (pictures above) was slow to recover, and then colonized quickly (as you can see in 4th picture of the first post). This one seems stalled. : \

20c might be a little cool for PE, do you have a way of getting them up to like 25-26? Mine colonized faster when I warmed things up a bit.

Colonization times are not a big deal for me, what concerns me the most are the contamination issues. : )

I think your biggest issue is the low temps. Try to get the temps up a little. Try to get better light and just wait it out.
