Yes but for the record most people put tubs into "fruiting conditions" at the time of spawn.

Personaly i would take a razor and trim that liner all aroud within an inch of the sub but if you don't think you can do it without molesting the sub too much then just leave it and add your fresh air.

I did think about just trowing it straight into fruiting right after mixing spawn with the substrate however, I wanted to see how it went. I do need to trim it down better:)

Tonight after work I am going to throw this one into fruiting....I did get a three more tubs going last night...now I didn't throw these right into fruiting either....

Is there any real benefit from throwing them straight to fruiting instead of letting it colonize the substrate??

It's more like there doesn't seem to be a benefit to suffocating them during colonization.

Hey guys, Sorry been really busy lately!
I have been having some good success on my grow!
I decided to get myself a Martha tent, I really wanted a separate space that was more automated to fruit in! Ill throw some pictures your way soon!

Here is some pictures of my hard work at work  finally paying off!

About the day after entering into fruiting... and then yesterdays(top) picture of great pinning...
