Last Flush Contamination
    #28669960 - 02/21/24 04:00 PM (10 months, 20 days ago)

Just a quick question. Not exactly New to this, but not too experienced.
I have a shoebox monotub. On my 3rd flush, and it's been producing ๐Ÿ„ better than the first two, it's slowing down but still productive although I now see twitch or mold, but it's still going pretty well. Are these last fruits growing in lightly contaminated mycelium still edible? I see no mold on the fruits themselves.
Thanks in advance for your help with this question. First time posting, long time listening and learning.
FYI, I have never had as much success as I have had with this grow. But it's been three weeks or more of production.

Yes, they are still edible. If you are worried then don't consume them fresh. Dry them or consume them by making tea for peace of mind. Only thing I wouldn't do once you have sporulating mold in your tub is to take spore prints from any of the fruits growing alongside the mold as mold spores could potentially render your prints useless or really difficult to work with.

Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking, and have been dehydrating and setting aside. Appreciate your input!
