Fuzzy feet?

First shoebox, first grow. Do these look fuzzy due to lack of airflow? My eyes suck almost as bad as pictures on the webs. Run a fan in the room? Leave’em alone? First pins were 3 days ago, the big one is about 3”tall. I’m super stoked for my first success and don’t wanna fuck it up. Any feedback appreciated.

Fuzzy feet can be genetic. If you have the lid cracked I would just let it ride. Nothing appears to be aborting so celebrate the win and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Thanks, Lid is cracked now, kinda surprised me with pins. Took forever to colonize in jars (the room is a bit on the cool side) so I wasn’t expecting to see pins yet, not a gasket tub so some fae from the start. Hardest part for me is leaving them alone and let’er do their thing. I’ve got 2 other bins going that. Think are going to fail, I think I misted too often too early, surface is covered in blobs and doesn’t seem to want to pin. I’ll take one success over none!

Very slight lack of FAE usually causes fuzzy feet, but it could also be genetic.
You've done a really great job for your first grow. Your issue here is that you have inconsistent colonization. You have a few pins/fruits ready to go, but you also have uncolonized surface.
If you increase FAE and start fruiting conditions, the rest of the surface is going to struggle to catch up and colonize. But that's okay. I would recommend fruiting the few mushrooms that are currently growing, harvesting them, and then rehydrating the tub and letting it recolonize for round 2.

I got fuzzy feet on the first flushes, but afterwards no. I haven't changed a thing regarding FAE, so that leads to believe that it is genetic. Anyway, fuzzy feet isn't an issue, I've tripped totally fine on those shrooms 🥳

That was kinda my plan, this little handful seems to want to go so imma try to facilitate that. Looks like LOTS of small pins just starting to poke out around each cluster that’s already fruiting, hopefully I can let the early birds mature, harvest, and keep the tub going. It’s a pretty awesome feeling when you finally see your first lil babies coming into the world!
