The object death must be put in its place for immortality to take place as an evolutionary event. Ending dying completely.

dying, however, is part of the creative process known as life, ending one or the other will break the change.

But we can draw a river on the map and see that it changed position very little over several millennia. our bodies do not last as long as rivers generally do, but we have rivers within us flowing with blood, they die with us.

is there really a discrete beginning or end?
it seems like smooth flow like how a river moves
the discretion seems to be an artifact of thought

As long as there is life there is no death. Individual death is real but we are all just many sides of one experiencing object... and that is the totality of all experience of all life. I think of the unimaginably horrifying experiences of deep sea creatures... Where do those experiences go? Something experienced being ripped apart by spiky teeth. There are all these wicked experiences that must have happened, and still happen. What is that? Could death not be a relief? "Death is finished" said Ivan Ilyich

why does horror exist? Terror? Pain? Fear? You can see it in so many different eyes of all different animals. Something experienced that. There is something there. It isn't an empty robot. Animals are not automata. There are experiences. Why is this the case when there are such awful experiences? The buddhists say something about this, but this leads such a removed existence, no? Such a life is kept empty for the illusion of having something eternal, no? I think this reflects something real but is itself a degradation to life. These terror experiences... the innumerable trillions upon trillions of them. Why does that exist? That is what I want an answer to.

That is disingenuous, and you know it. It is the perfect line for someone who wants to use you. "I know this is going to be difficult, but..." Uhhuh... No, how about it be good now? Is that too much to ask? Is being actually satisfied so much of a crime to even hear about that people go so far as to willingly not have any satisfaction solely for the sake of not being able to be accused of enjoying themselves too much!?

What people are told from birth:
Consume! You have got to succeed! You need this. You need that. Now you need those. More more more
Capitalist media as an adult:
You need to restrain yourself! Get in order! Clean your room! Is that you enjoying life too much?! Work hard, (maybe) play (a little) hard!

I was actually thinking about that as an analogy
like when does water vapor become a cloud? when does the cloud become rain? when does rain become a stream? a stream a lake? a lake a river? ocean? water vapor...
thought chops these up into discrete events
but the water molecule just flows along without any gap or leap

I think we are all actually connected but there is a gap that cannot be bridged, as if we are all encased in the same plastic wrap, but the area between us, within the wrap, is impossible to squeeze into, and each little airbubble, if you will, is each of us. I think, furthermore, language and sexuality are actually, not metaphorically, the bond itself of that connection. We are truly connected to one another, and it is in the deepest way possible. It is physical, mental. The membranes that separate each of us can be penetrated by different means... obviously, and the reason for this is because we are all part of each other, and are fundamentally meant to touch each other, not just with hands but with each other's minds. All that ever has been for us is there inside of us, we just can't see it normally. Each, invidual, separated consciousness maintains the illusion of it being separate from every other consciousness, but it must do so in order to live. There are moments, however, where people willingly come together to shed those layers of separation, and that is a reflection of the actual truth of our being, which is not one of singularities but a collectivity.

I have found that this is true, in a personal history way, not as BLueLux suggests, but I can imagine people taking advantage and leading with this aphorism. In a personal way, however, it has lead to abandoning some dreams and finding something better.

There is something more concise: if you wait too long to eat your cake, it will have gone bad.
Delayed gratification sounds cool... Until you have irreversible back damage. Then the percocet, after a battle to get them, 4 doctors, and 4,000$. So much for immediate gratification too.
True love waits, until your girlfriend is pregnant with someone else's child.
Sorry, I had to on that one.
It is so cliche. But here is the real reason why I cannot accept this notion. It reinforces people to live and grind, which wears them down and robs them of the best years of their lives. It makes them into things. Willing to deal with significant physical and mental pain... for what exactly, now??
