im not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but ill post this anyways, my cousin is under age, he is also a serious drug addict, and on probation. hes been smoking meth for a week strait, and pot, so hes positive and he reaks like meth head(amonia), he went in for his po and they tested him, upon walking out he informed them that he was going to fail miserably , he recieved his probation for asult with a bb gun..... , and got six months probation and 20 hours of comunity service. he lives in texas, what is ur advice for him and what do u think the consequences of his violation. i would really apreciate some advice, and i am willing to accept reality, if there is nothing that can be done than so be it. peace

Wow, that is some serious shit! I as on probation for 3 yrs. I started out with 3 months probation. Then I got caught drinking! Not just drinking, but I was pulled over and arrested for an aggravated DUI. After that they gave me three years of intensive probation. House arrest! That's the F**king worst thing to be on! So honestly, your friend is screwed! I live in AZ, but I think the laws may be a little more strict in Texas. It was only alcohol for me, so I can only imagine what your friend will get. I hope thing go better with your friend than they did for me.

i tested postive on juvenlle probation and just got 20hrs extra community service, had to write a letter about harmful effects of drugs (cut and paste) and had to apoligize to in open court to my parents for being a drug addict that was the second time i was on probation and it was for 2 felony charges, the first time was felony charges as well, (in my state they have a point system and prior felonys count as like 6 and current felonys are like 10, they need 12 to hold you after arraingment) so he should be okay. i had a good lawyer but he didn't say much during the VOP hearing. oh i talked to the proscuter and worked out a deal that if i admitted the VOP that's all i got otherwise they were trying for suspended level 6 (next time you violate you go directy to jail for 6-8 months) which i ended up getting anyway when i caught another felony charge but i hid out till i turned 19 (like 16 days ago) and they can't do anything after that cuz juvenlle jursdiction only goes until you are 19, once they get you on papers it's really hard to get off until your no longer in there control most states it's 19 but if you get SHO (serious habitual offender) it's until you're 23 but to get that there's strict critera like you gotta rape, murder, armed robbery, arson with injury, manslaughter, or get like 10 felonys before you're 16 or something, anyway you really gotta try hard to get SHO status

I would hate to see your cousin get in the system. He need to grow up. Perhaps they will give him one more chance but i don't really think that will help him. There is nothing you can do to help him. This is one monkey he will have to get off his back with professional help. Hopefully the judge will order a drug treatment program and not jail.

i dunno john we live in texas, things mite be different, and your absolutely correct bio he doese need to clean up, my step dad is a very powerful attorney and knows all the judges, so i probably could get him off, if he wasnt such a dumbass and told the po hed fail he could just deny and if he played it rite it would work, but i dont wanna get him off, he needs to learn his lesson, because there is no reason for him to be addicted to drugs, especially ones that have no positive effects like meth. but i dont want him to be on house arrest for the next year and a half and he is very smart(at least rite now) and i dont want this bull shit to fuck up his college situation. peace

He's fucked for admitting he wouldn't pass, but his first mistake was being stupid and failing a pis test, lay off for a month, is it really that hard? Tell him either with words, or your fist, wich ever will get throughm he's your best friend, you owe it to him and he will thank you after he realizes he fucked up, maybe it will be sitting in his jail cell, hopefully not. I wish him luck, and intelligence.
