Everything is from north spore.    Just order some “grow it” coir.

As others have stated, your tub is seriously contaminated by multiple things. It will never fruit and it would be wise for you to concentrate your efforts on something new and chalk it up to experience. Pretty much any contamination you end up getting is always due to the health of the spawn you use. As others have pointed out, you are much better off using straight coir for your substrate and you layer for the top. straight coir is preferred because it has no nutritional value to the mycelium or contamination.
You also want to weigh your coir out to get close to exact weight, and multiply that by 4.6 to get how many ml you need of water.
1ml of water weighs 1G.
I wish you luck in your future grows, but I would not spend anymore time on that tub.
Welcome to the Shroomery and welcome to cult!

Thanks brother!  Definitely will try the straight coir method.  Definitely cheaper then 💩 from N spore.  I heat up the water correct? and add the water and coir together?  Let it sit, cool down and then mix?  I forget the temps but that’s what I’ve read so far on here

Check out bucket tek. It's what most people around here use successfully.

There are other methods that work just as well and for instance some people (incl. me) just hydrate it on the stove. Coir is hard to contam if it doesn't contain random ground cricket bits and stuff.

YMMV but bucket tek is a good choice if you're not willing to venture too far.

I use a insulated cooler and do 3 bricks at a time, boil the water needed and add to the coir and let it sit overnight.
It will store for quite some time, and you will probably use it up b4 it could go bad.

I watched that video.  So do I need to use a casing layer?

Depends on the species, if you're growing cubensis I wouldn't recommend one. Pseudo casing (made of just coir) is useful for stuff that likes to blob because of spawn ratio/other weirdness like penis envy and it's definitely helpful for surface conditions.

Proper casing (with peat) does no harm in the right conditions but it slows down colonization/fruiting (which can screw you up if your spawn isn't the cleanest) and doesn't really do much of anything for cubensis. And if there's no obvious reason to do something we like to reduce the steps we use to avoid adding failure points. Keeping it stupid simple.

Jack Frost, penis envy, star gazer are the 3 I have.  I have the penis in the grain bag atm 😂 wish it was a cherry pie.

I use a proper casing for penis envy.  I've used the pseudo casing before but had better results with standard.  Other members might say they had a different experience.  If you have enough spawn and feel like comparing, compare.  Post your results.  Just make sure to pasteurize the peat casing properly.

What would be the best way to expand my syringe?  Agar or liquid?    Need more to experiment with 👨‍🔬.  So do you guys use a microscope to inspect your spores be4 you start agar or liquid?

I would take the syringe, put a single drop on an agar dish, tilt it so it makes a straight line to the other edge, wrap the dish and give it about a week, if it's clean then I'd probably transfer a wedge from there into another LC.

If you tested your LC once and you're confident in your method and know it's clean you can just expand it out directly but even with the practice/knowledge I have to this day I still prefer doing it the slow way.

No need for a microscope, you should see the difference on agar easily enough. Microscopes are cool but bonus

Spores are never clean if your shrooms were ever exposed to the open air (can't think of a single vendor that does otherwise, too much hassle for benefits). You want to germinate the spores on agar first then transfer the live culture.

Also be mindful that mentioning sponsors is against the rules if you mention cultivation. I've heard good things from there though.

Can you stick a piece of grain in a agar dish?

Looked perfectly fine in the grain bag.  2 days into agar I’m seeing blue/green? Dots .  Is this junk?

After doing some research it seems like a air borne issue when transferring?
