Hello again chaps
wanted to please ask you fellas over here to cast an eye on a couple of plates for me and give them the green light, T3 these are, hoping to send them today or tomorrow and grab a transfer from each while I am there

I had a lot of trouble working these up, been going back to the same dirty print and restarting for months and meeting plates that looked fairly good like this but the grain ends up fucked after a few shakes
Really hoping this will finally get it done... What says the collective wisdom then please?
Thanks, good times

Yeah thatβs not something Iβve ever seen before. Was the thicker edge always there and it keeps moving as it grows, or did it just recently show up??

yes thicker edge just showed up, but I wonder if some of the morphology is because of a media change
well, I won't send it for now, instead I will run the other things I have ready to go and transfer this again, see if it improves... bugger
here was one of those plates a few days ago for reference anyway

I agree it looks odd and thin sorta, but none of these ever turn colour either if the plates are held for a while
oh well back to the drawing board, guess I am gonna try one last go of the print across a few plates and then call it a day and re-source it if nothing plays out
thanks mates

yeah that's the one we discussed in the agar thread the other day
anyway, I will persevere a bit more, hopefully we will get there in the end. I haven't worked on a print yet that proved to be completely unworkable with enough effort

I agree, it seems like time to call it a day on the print.
As you are going to give it one more run. Maybe include a set of water agar plates. A few for germination and a few for 2nd and 3rd transfers... And transfer early. That growth looks to like it is about 1" across, maybe transfer from at half that size and as small a piece as you possibly can.
Sorry that you potentially had a "dud" print. If this next run doesn't work out, I hope another, better one finds you quickly.
