Tub Colonization issue
    #28666264 - 02/19/24 01:33 AM (10 months, 22 days ago)

Hey Everyone, i made about 20 50l Monotubs with 650g block of coir, 2 quarts verm, sprinkle of gypsum, 4 quarts of wheat grain spawn and 3L water.

It's odd i have about 13 doing well and 7 looking like the one below.
Any idea what could be causing these 7 to not do well? Fae is good, the other tubs fruit full canopies (some contam after first flushes though).

Each tub has the same recipe.

I'm thinking could the coir not being evenly mixed cause this? (also each tub was cased with coir).

Cheers guys!

That looks matted and bacterial. Check spawn.

Agreed. Did you take any pictures of the spawn?

Are they all the same genetics? How did you inoculate your bags / jars?

The spawn was in good nick, same genetics for each tub, it was second gen agar from multispore to grain bag to grain transfer.
