Looks like Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata. Especially the umbo, gill color, and small blue pins.

Very interesting. These looked both similar to allenii and cyans but yet different. I was so confused. Spore print is a rusty brown.
First time seeing in the bay for me...

Yeah they look like ovoids to me too.
We can’t see them all properly though so be careful to separate any that look off. Personally I’d like to see more shots of those with the reddish looking stems and orangey gills. They’re probably the same species but it’s good to be careful
Edit: after looking more closely we can see them all 😂 sorry. I’ve just never seen Psilocybe species with such pinkish-orangey gills like that…

Please double-triple check anything with a rusty brown spore print, that is a tell-tale sign of Galerina. Psilocybes will have a purple brown spore print. I'm assuming you didn't print all of them?

Well, I wouldn’t call that rusty brown. It’s definitely a dark brown, which is within the colour range for Psilocybe. I haven’t seen many with brown spores like that though, but it explains the different gill colour.
If it were me I’d wait for some more opinions and a Trusted Identifier.

They do resemble ovoids. I’ve never seen them here. That would be a super cool find.

The phenotype you found has those rusty gills. It’s thrown me off a time or two. The smelll should be the dead give away that they are ovoids. Smells similar the cubes. Less like the cucumber farinacious smell of the common primary decomposing woodlovers in our area.

I don't think I can rely on my smell... I have never dealt with cube, only cyan and allenii... I think the smell like the latter 2?

They look quite ovoidish to me, though the ones with the really brown gills are throwing me off
