Hi, I think you're confusing some definitions. Spores are the things that come from the gills.
Or do you indeed mean to again use spores?

Looks like maybe a mould problem but definitely contam, make up some brf pucks, transfer to that then transfer any healthy myc from the puck back to agar then grain. Brf pucks for the win👍

Yes, I know that spores come from mushroom gills. I have one more spore print left over from my purchase.
I don’t think there’s any point in transferring further here.

Thank you. Are you saying that I should now transfer the agar to the brf pucks and then transfer the germinated mycelium from the brf pucks back to the agar?

If there is a mold problem, brf packs wouldn't be much of a help, as mold will outrun our myc in brf (I may be wrong, but I strongly believe that), it could help with bacteria though. I would just choose a plate with the best possible parts for transferring, transfer a miniscule amount, using the tip of a needle, to 8-10 new plates, and go from there. I would expect that you would get right at least half of the new plates, assuming good sterile technique.

Yes, transfer your best myc to puck, hopefully you’ll get some healthy growth you can transfer back to agar and then use, unfortunately there’s some contam pucks can’t help, then you go back to spores, maybe to water agar or straight to puck.

Do you still have the T1? Possibly transfer from that again.
Are these cubes by the way?

 This,
Non-uninformity ladden with enmeshed piggy back bacteria are bitch to clean, best bet are pucks or other antibacterial teks.

Could you please explain "Brf pucks" or give me a link to it?

its covered in Josex Poke << link. also in prestine puck pin by ReverendMyc
its basically Making use of the good 'ol PF-tek substrate:(BRF, verm and water) Bacteria has a hell of a time on this substrate due to the nature of its surface, such pins produced by pucks are clean.
my old puck culture, I have used coir since verm is scarse here.

Thanks for the reply, is it correct that "brf pucks" is the same as the brf tek recipe but uses less amount in the jar? Also, do I need to make my agar into a syringe and inoculate the brf pucks?
Or can I inoculate the agar directly onto the brf pucks? , I understand that brf pucks are separated by bacteria. As another advantage, is it also used to make pins inside the pucks?

Yes, less of it and no verm top. I’ve dropped agar on it and it works. Josex poke is even better for cleaning up bacterial growth. This was an agar drop. Not so much for cleaning but to see what the fruits looked like.

I absolutely love brf pucks, they've saved my ass so many times. Just a pc's brf/verm mix in a jar without a top layer of dry verm, shove swab tips in, inject with msss, and then pluck clean myc that outrun the bacteria and put to agar.
