First Time Cultivator - Transfers/Feedback
    #28664604 - 02/17/24 08:19 PM (10 months, 24 days ago)

I have 5 different types of mushrooms in these images but this is my first time with agar. I have only transferred once and was wondering do I need to transfer again before putting these to grain.

Agar Recipe:
500ML distilled water
10g agar-agar
10g LME
1g Yeast
1g Peptone
2-3g Activated Carbon/Charcoal

I have a 2x2 FFU that I work in front of and I never work over an agar dish, only from the sides.

Is there anything that I am missing or do these all look good besides the reflection of condensation (I have been storing them upside down)?

When I put these to grain, could I put the same mushroom type into the same jar from different agar plates to increase colonization speed?

This one has a little brown on it but hasn't been growing, is it contam or just from the agar nutrients.

To clarify, #6 is growing well. The brown part hasn't been growing/spreading.

Number 3 and 5 and a couple down stream look the best but all of them could do with another transfer or three.
