I saw the opposite of that on a business card. It said something to the effect of:

"I do not consent to any search of my person, vehicle, or possessions."

"I choose to remain silent."

and some more such stuff. The idea is you just hand it to the cop with your ID when you're getting hounded.

yeah.. I saw something similar to that on a NORML card.. sort of like this - http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=3407

Would you be opposed to a senior citizen couple being allowed to obtain a sticker saying" If it's not a senior driving this car then it's stolen"?

Yes. On the basis that it would encourage pensioners to steal cars.

My thought on this is that a bumper sticker is not a legal document and if your lawyer doesn't get any evidence from that search thrown out he sucks and you need a new lawyer.

I just talked to my dad(a lawyer) about this, and he says that such a bumper sticker, while not legally binding, would imply consent to search your car, and you would need to explicitly specify that the officer does not have permission to search your car.

Interesting. I would hope that when it comes to the bill of rights it would take more than an implied consent. You should ask him if it would stand in court against a motivated defencse attorney. Or what if I had another stick saying that you don't consent to giving up any rights.

Consentual searches should be outlawed altogether. It's just a way to allow cops to bully people into giving up their rights.

If someone is guilty, they obviously didn't really want the cop to search their house, or vehicle.

Then it would be illegal to enter a buddys house if they gave you consent to enter.

Consentual " searches", not "consentual entering by a friend".

The 1-5am stickers, I'm sure, are for the elderly.. and hey, if I was 87 I might get one.

well not me, I'm up till 5am as a rule, go go sleep disorders yeah.

but the search me sticker?

bit too fascist for my tastes thanks.
hell, DUI checkpoints are too fascist for my tastes. Implied guilt, prove your innocence. All that fucking shit is.. "prove I'm innocent, go ahead!"
