i see were making some progress! great job guys! it seems like every time i think i have a clean enough culture to put to grain after colonization when i s2b the mean green always gets me i did however find this agar pin going through some less recent cultures

and it seems pretty eager to come back to life cause not long after putting it on to a new plate it bounced back fairly rapidly from being bone dry.
also, i figured id post these recent wild finds here to maybe give yall some inspiration and because im sure yall can appreciate the beauty : )

Gorgeous, and absolute monsters too! Man I wish these could grow naturally where I live. I suppose they wouldn't handle the winters too well.

Mexicana (rancho augusto)
Exit: @despisedone, I was having a lot of issues with the green showing up in my tubs as well. Things started to shift for me and I got longer living tubs once I heavily reduced grain content and relied more on the substrate. Only one success so far but there was like a bit less than half a quart of grain total in that tub if I recall correctly.

Thanks Rhizo!
Chunky fruits there cambo!
By being very careful kirkeng. The smaller ones and clusters are more stable.

Ekabpils - are you running your caerulescens in the same conditions as your zapotecorum?

Experimenting and it seems they like different conditions. But too early to say.
