20 years out of the game, needing a quick refresh

Hi everyone. It's time to grow some cubes again but I haven't done so for about two decades. Am trying to find someone with Koh Samui Super Strain or Penis Envy though having some difficulty, will keep looking.
When I get the prints I'm planning on doing this PF style and birth the cakes into a tub that uses an aquarium pump to keep humidity about 90% through some air stones under the perlite (or might choose a different medium there).
I was going to do cakes in one tub but also take a couple of cakes and break them down into either a rye or corn casing and place them into tub two which will be fanned by hand a few times a day.
If I recall correctly I want to have germination/colonosing temps around 85f and fruiting humidity at 90%.
I've searched around before posting this and can't see that there have been any improvements or additions to these general teks since I last used them.
Obviously keeping sterile is the main factor but am wondering if anyone has found a different substrate or tek to be a little more forgiving than another?
I remember the process being very simple, could I perhaps be forgetting a step somewhere?

Welcome back brother
I´ll make it short and give you that link. Beef summed everything up with big effort, and it´s fun to read.
In general you shouldn´t give a fuck about different temps for germination/colonization/fruiting, if you feel comfortable, so will mycelium. We set up to growing conditions and don´t change much ´til harvest.
For PfTek look here. For monotubs look here.
Have fun and take your time, things have changed in two decades
For cultures go to our marketplace, and see what fits your needs.

Thank you mate, will give those a read to re-fresh.
I'm down under, the marketplace isn't likely to be of much help to me as I recall it was heavily north American and typically people will only send to locations quite close to them.
I am excited to get back and contribute to the forum a bit, maybe I'll be able to help some others as well

There's some cool Aussies on here. 3am and themushroombloke are both Aussies and have sent me shit before. The shroomery has grown a lot in the last few decades. I'm UK and I'm amazed at how many people are from uk/willing to post to UK. Keep an eye on the marketplace.
