Why do you think a second chance at industrialization wouldn't occur again?

Rare mineral resources now require industrialized machinery to extract from the earth. Surface minerals have been depleted long ago. Thatβs the take I got from the post. Intriguing thought.

Hobbit. Those are going to be lovely. Canβt wait to see them at harvest.

Day 62

I'm waiting for these new LEDs to arrive and then I will flip as soon as I get them installed.
Edit: Dropped quite the chunk of change on 2 of these.. https://medicgrow.com/collections/medic-grow-led-grow-light/products/spectrum-x-led-grow-light

I wish I could wait to flip till I filled the tent out more but I'm using programmed released nutrients so I have to flip soon.

Hobbit, will those still produce a lot at their current size?
I see Solo cup grows putting out huge yields for their size.

Couldn't you just add nutrients after the programmed window is past?

Yep, basically that. Thanks for considering my thoughts both of ya!
The native american copper age is an interesting example. Every other civilization in the world that started utilizing copper, eventually started to mix copper with tin to make bronze, and from there things very quickly take off. So why did native americans, who started using copper a thousand years before anyone else in the world, never develop bronze? Two reasons: First, the copper in N. America was native copper, meaning pure copper. It's the only place in the world that had raw, pure, natural copper on the surface ready to be used. Everywhere else on the surface of the world, copper existed as secondary minerals. This required those other civilizations to fiddle with the copper ore and develop smelting technology to extract the copper. Since Native Americans didn't have to do that step to use their copper, they never developed smelting or metalsmithing. Second reason, there was no surface tin in N. America that needs to be smelted with copper to make bronze. The other civilizations that learned to smelt, naturally started asking what might happen if they mix other shiny rocks, like the tin they also had nearby, and then bronze happened.
So it's really all a matter of circumstance that determined the progression of technology in some places and not in others. The Native Americans flourished in N. America without metalsmithing and actually stopped using copper too. Ironically, since pure copper is so malleable, without bronze chisels, they couldn't mine much of the massive quantities of copper they had just lying on the ground. They were limited to what they could carry, and had to leave massive multi-ton boulders and surface deposits where they lie.
When white settlers came through, they collected the massive boulders of pure copper and started to mine the deposits in northern Michigan. The plentiful pure copper was the perfect prerequisite for the new rulers of America to lead the electrical revolution. Our grid is built on those millions of pounds of copper that were easily and quickly mined out. And since electricity was the new big deal and we had all this copper, we were the most desirable country to buddy up and trade with, making us rich, connected and influential. It was a once in a geologic-lifetime event that no other country had the conditions for.
If civilization were only minorly knocked down and we still had books and tons of scrap materials to work with, we might be able cobble together some kind of post apocalyptic steam age. But even in the best of times, no single country has every resource it needs. Industrialization was only possible after global trade became a thing. Maybe if there's still enough resources to power a ship or the road network hasn't decayed too much there could be some trade.
But if something happened that caused all of those pre-event technologies to be lost and forgotten, we'd be like the native americans with their pure copper. Incapable of advancing because the required minerals aren't accessible. Even if people came across city ruins and recycled those resources, that could hinder the re-learning of how they were produced. Sort of how we live now. We don't have to know anything about a phone, car or computer to be able to use them. If that 1% of people who do know how things work die, well it only took 50 years to forget how to get to the moon.

Well the 2nd phase of flowering nutrients will be released so it would change everything.
It's a 4-6wk veg and 8-10wk flower. Each phase of growth has their own specific nutrients being released.

Yeah I used the regular ones. The extended kind seem like they would be more fitting for me. Honestly I love them so far. Don't like the early flip but that's only issue so far.

Trust me i dont fuck with autos either. It's just a breeding project.
Just spent a tun of money, time and space picking and growing out 3 strains to be knocked up. I started 10 regular seeds at the same time to get one male. Only 4 germinated. Two are retarded and two are females. Months and hundreds of dollars getting to the point where I cant do anything. Fuck me. I will never use Strain supermarket again. They sent me old fucked up beans.

What's the plan there? That's trained early just to stretch too much, time to train it outward, trim the lower branches, etc.

That there's a mother plant that I shall be taking clones of tomorrow. It's shocking how she has not stopped stretching. She continues to grow every day in that tiny 4 inch container. I'm smoking some of her mother right now.

The clone is going on 5 months old here in a week. I think she'd be an amazing outdoor crop.
