Advice on spawn cleanliness/readiness 1

Looking for some feedback on the cleanliness and readiness of these spawn jars.
All eight are rye berries, prepped using SpitballJedi's How I do Rye Berry Prep write up. I inoculated them with a single 1"x1" agar wedge back on 1/8, they colonized slowly (I wondered if I had to much FAE due to lids having x2 3/8" holes covered with SFP each.) On 1/22 they were at maybe 20% colonized, so I did a break and shake. They have taken off since. Four are JMF, four are Mazatapec.
All four of the JMF jars are around 90% colonized today.

Two of the Maz jars are almost fully colonized. One is 90%, and the other is 75%.

Do they look clean? How close to being able to spawn them to bulk?

I personally like to shake at 95-100% to see how fast she recuperates. If it's slow or only the top does then more like to be some contamination.
Do you have other Jars ? You may want to try g2g with some of these- if it's clean of course... g2g will colonize more rapidly.
Hard to tell from pics but I'd say you're good - wait for a day or two after 100% to make sure unless you shake again and wait for complete mycelium takeover.
If you notice any grains that have wetness pressed against glass keep eye out for any tinge/milky coloration to the wetness (bacterial) or any funky myc (aerial, spikey, or supper rhizo looking patches ) means it's battling or running from contam.

I've had a lot going on, and may have overlooked something as well as USPS snafu's.

I do not have any other jars prepped, no. I've read through Stipe-n Cap's Clean spawn checklist and from what I can tell all four look clean. There's no grains smashed wet to the glass, almost zero moisture, and only 2 of the jars have any metabolites and it's like two spots that are so small, I'm not even sure if it is metabolite or just an exploded grain. I think I'm going to reassess tomorrow and if it's 100% colonized, I'll wait another 24 hours and then I think it'll be "go time".

I agree it never hurts to wait until they are fully colonized to give them an extra shake and wait a day or two to ensure they recover quickly.
Looking good though!

It's taking longer than I expected to quite get back to where it was, thickness-wise at least. It appears 100% colonized, area-wise though.

Looks good! Your slow growth could be from low temperatures, but it's also possible that your grains are a tiny bit under-hydrated. Obviously too much moisture isn't good, but if they're dry at all it will slow down the growth significantly.

i just shook a jar that was 99% colonized ( very close to full...), at the same time with 2 other jars that were 60-70% colonized.
What i noticed on the ar that was almost full is that it is not growing aggresively new micelium, just filling a few spots on the same grain that have some small area free.
I suppose it behaves like that because mycellium will not grow " on top ", over, a grain that is already colonized ?
left jar : shaken at 99%, right jar at 60% plus minus...

feedback on this behaviour from more experienced growers is welcome
