Jail and prison is no joke. Definitely don't break the law. That's why for me I'm hoping psilocybin will become legal, because frankly I'm too paranoid for it anymore. I don't believe in selling mushrooms. I am against it. I also believe, if someone asks about them, I must, by virtue of my spirituality and ethics, tell them about them and, if I have them, give them to someone if they want to try them but don't know where to get them safely. I don't want to even mess with it anymore, unless I can do it safely. I love my husband more than I love psychedelics. That's why I dumped all the dmt down the drain.

Pecunia non olet.
Quote:
Pecunia Non Olet’: How A Roman Emperor Revived The Government With A Urine Tax
But it was still not enough. So Vespasian started to introduce new — and novel, and perhaps unexpected — taxes. One peculiar item Vespasian decided to tax was human urine collected from public toilets.
Although the previous emperor, Nero, was the first to implement this levy, he had rescinded it after a short period. In 70 A.D., Vespasian brought it back. It would be a major aspect of his money-collecting efforts.
But why would he want to tax urine? After all, what practical use could it have, that someone would want to buy it? And how did it lead to the phrase Pecunia non olet?
Urine: A Most Useful Substance In Ancient Rome
As it turns out, human piss had plenty of uses in Ancient Rome. For starters, it was widely used to wash dirty clothes.
Ancient Roman “fullers” washed laundry for a living. But they did not have soap. Instead, they resorted to a common commodity — urine — to clean dirty clothes.

I'd like to see from where that is written. I find it hard to believe. Perhaps in some slave population somewhere in the entirety of Rome, which was the equivalent of over 10 countries in size.
And plus, tis doubtful that this happened. Seems like more slander if you ask me. I'd like to see the sources.

Trump did remove the Iran nuclear deal stirring tension, but Biden sure holds his own responsibility for not re-enstating the Iran nuclear deal.
You can blame trump for removing it, but there's no excuse for Biden not having the bravado to reinstate it before now imo.

Seriously? It took years to negotiate the first deal, then the US blew it up. Why would Iran waste their time doing the same shit again knowing how unreliable the US. They know Trump could win again in 2024.

That was a week after Trump assassinated the Iranian general in Iraq, causing major attacks on the embassy by Iranian backed militias and a direct attack on a U.S. base from Iran that injured 100+. It was the largest missile attack on a US facility in decades. I’m not sure if there has ever been an attack on American forces from Iranian territory before. That’s what he was talking about. Trump ended up not retaliating for the attack, most likely because Iran shot down a Ukrainian airliner during the chaos. attacks continued on the embassy for months until the US evacuated most personnel from the green zone.
It was a pretty intense week if I remember. I will give trump credit for not escalating the situation, even if it was entirely a policy decision to kill the general in a third country in the first place. Absolutely stupid move that got us kicked out of Iraq, got hundreds killed on that airliner, got a major attack on a US base for nothing really. Trump also lucked out on that within a month Iran was completely besieged by covid, and pretty much shut down.

Sanctions kept billions of Iranian funds from them, so there was incentive to do it. Trump blew up the deal, and Biden never renegotiated or implemented it.

How is trump given credit for not escalating the situation further when he himself escalated it to that point by assassinating the Iranian general? It's like congradulating a kid for killing someone's cat then not killing their kids after the parents slap them.

I’m just noting how unusual it is that a U.S. base was attacked by a foreign nation, injuring more than 100 soldiers, and there was literally response. That was it.
I know Iran has been trying to assassinate members of the trump administration in retaliation for solemani.
