P. Hoogshagenii colonizing a tray nicely. Pf cake broken up into a 1:1 ratio of coco/verm, done the old fashion way without misters/bubblers.

Casing this week and moving the tray to a tote with fae holes, weβll see! I have several cakes in modified totes with bubblers and misters but this one feels like it may fruit first if I play my cards right.

Trying to top fruit a jar. There's pics in my sig journal of the jar but it looked very strange to me so I didn't want to risk a shoebox. First put spores to agar in October so it's pretty exciting to see even though it's buried under the coir.

Woodloving Psilocybe, sent to me as niveotropcalis by big homie Tweeq. That's since been called into question and now we don't really know what the fuck it is. But I do know that surface is pretty AF.
This is on rye and coir, cased with more coir. I also have a few jars of rye and hwfp cased with peat/verm/Ca(OH)2 just a few days ago.

You may benefit from letting the coir dry out and shake it loose, dump it out, leaving just a small amount thatβs still colonized remain.

Those genetics are specifically being questioned or the species itself is? I have some niveo. They mycelium is very cube like. Colonizes fast too. Itβs very sus to me π

Is that the unknown WL from India? If so, apparently it is Ps. Thaiaeruginomaculans.

Yes, it is. Tweeq did mention that but also another two species so I'm just gonna leave it as a question mark

Plus woodlover from India is easier to say than Thaiaeruginomaculans, and people will know what your talking about.

Itβs more likely cf. subaeruginascens imo
A couple of my IWL prints / cultures from the early collections that were initially labelled niveo sequenced as cf. subaeruginascens

Okay, that's what I was waiting to hear. At this point what we have learned in the past few years is we actually know diddly about woodlovers. Without getting sequenced, everything is a blind shot in the dark.

Like wtf are my mystery WL ? ILL be glad to sequence these idk where and how much needed I'm a hermit lol
For reference the spawn jars from this culture pin like mad invitro I've never seen azure near this aggressive trying to fruit just after 1wk over a month colonizing wood.
These seem to like the rotten ash chips I got for free.
Pure WL from massive sporebottle dump of old genetics and mixed species No shitting I thought ovoids but it looks odd and no membranous veil or stubby appearance π€
