Mine are going very slowly too. These are low spore from yoshi. I went to bulk on 12-1 and it started pinning about 1.5 weeks ago. These little guys are growing slowly for me too.

So I grew some P. Nat via genetics provided from JW123. I'd have to say it was probably the easiest, fuss-free grow I've ever done. Here are some pics of that 2 mini-tub and 6 shoe-box test grow. I now have 8 mini-tubs in flight. All substrates 2.5 inch depth with 1/8 inch 50/50 casing ->

And ...... for my COUP DE GRÂCE .... here is the .9ml Qtest

Since the Qtest is supposed to be a 1ml test BUT I could only get .9ml through the syringe filter and into the syringe I'm gonna do a little math and estimate potency at ->
.9x=2.1 x=2.1/.9 x=2.33% total desired alkaloid ..... give or take a few since it is a reagent test .... I'm not disappointed at all in this result. Enjoy.

Yep, I got mine from him and they’ve been amazing. I keep taking them through generations to further stabilize, but they’re not any better now than the first grow I did from his print. Thanks for testing these!

Keep in mind that test result and its inaccuracies could be attributed to my own failures or lucky maneuvers (French for .... MANEUVERS). Real results for a real professional under HPLC testing could be better or worse. I'm really just an amateur hack.

And the potency of the shrooms may vary from piece to piece. But they're definitely more potent than regular cubes, like twice as strong. Well done PhreakFakt0r, thank you for sharing!

Hey all!
This is my first time posting on Shroomery, and I’ve been trying to grow some P. Natalensis since August. My first batch failed due to contamination in a shoebox tub, but this second batch I inoculated in November has been doing pretty good.
Thought someone would find it interesting to see the weird way I’m trying to grow these. I’ve mixed some spawn with soaked oats, shredded brown paper, rye flour, and vermiculite in a pickle jar. It’s doing pretty good and way above my expectations!
If anyone has grown mushrooms in waste/uncommon things I’d love to hear about it!

Those results track with mine. I think I supplied JW123 with his nat print so it is pretty cool to see they are really close potency wise. I'm glad he spread the hell out of them. I got my print from turtle hermit.

Is this normal for a verm only casing layer? I read somewhere that a casing prevents blobs?? Those are different, they are more like fluffy mycelium. Seems like there are a lot of pictures floating around where the surface of a shoebox gets covered with that fluffy type stuff and fruits pop up through the clouds? Is this like the start of that?? Same MSS in different fruiting chambers have all blobs, and they are not the same.

Yeah that’s normal for natalensis.
Usually the overlay gets really bad right before full colonization for me. It’s like colonize>overlay>fruit
Yours looks like it’s not gonna be bad though probably just a few little floof balls.

This properly labeled ms Playa elf confirms to me that my previous posts were in fact not natalensis. I’m sorry, I’m a fraud

Some of them yes. Not the wavy caps. Those were swabbed at the gills
