It's true, many of the founders were almost as enamored with an idealized version of Rome as you are.

In is a latin preposition
“Word” is indo European in origin. It doesn’t come from Latin. The latin word “verba” shares the same common linguistic ancestor. Same for the number six. The origins of most common words are much older than Latin.

Verbal Verbatim
The v is a w sound. Latin has no English v sound.
Werba Word
The er and or are pronounced almost identically

All that we hold dear, that we think is unique to us, can be found in the works of Roman and Greek writers. It is astonishing, quite frankly.

The word “word” doesn’t come from Latin. The Germanic word “word” and the the Latin word “verba” come from languages spoken in India and Iran thousands of years ago.

Very similar words. This is a small example. I already gave you two other examples with the 'verba.' It is not by accident that these words remain. They are the actual result of the conquests of Rome, which were not mere conquests but actually the combination of people in a way that made civilization advance as a whole. This is why the words still exist, indeed still letters based on their letters... and cursive handwriting, which Romans in the 1st century had

Not really. Proto Germanic languages used similar sounding words long before any influence from Rome.
A lot of common words have origins much older than Latin. The Persian word for six is Sas. The Hindi word for eight is Aht.

The understanding of grammar, rhetoric, and the construction of language as we know it comes from the Greeks and the Romans, even the word grammar.

You probably do have Roman ancestry. I wonder about my own, because of the shape of my foot but not merely.

Or like... 'the way' ... Via is the word in latin, wia, it means road or way. Viam ostende, show the way Ostentatious, ostensible, the ible is Latin. Cogitationes. The tion in every word is Latin. Many constructions we say today are almost identical to what the Romans said, even the same metaphors. Everything we think is really Western; the Romans already figured it out.

Good lord, no. The syntax and grammar of English is totally different from Latin. Latin has a ridiculous number of verb contractions, gendered nouns and cases which don’t exist in English. English grammar and syntax is distinctly not romantic

Look at the interrogations of Cicero. They are identical to how it is done in English. What do you mean by Romantic syntax? The difference is really very simple and easy, and there is truly little difference, except that English is a zombie language and thus has a different appearance in its sophistication. English is just more wordy -- unnecessarily wordy, some might say.

Latin is as frustrating as it is fascinating. To me it's somehow simultaneously in someways more but in other ways less refined version of Italian and I'm not convinced modern scholars have the pronunciation correct especially ecclesiastically. Recently I've been quite intrigued by the proto European languages or words or phrases that transcend all and are particularly ancient and ubiquitous throughout humanity. I mean one can see simply over a few generations how things can morph let alone millenia long games of telephone. Anyway I remain appalled and bewildered by the cult of trump in this modern era.

Every argument you find today is constructed in the Greek and Latin style. If then statements, for instance. And I can find many more examples. I'd say, furthermore, just as Terence Mckenna said, this was facilitated by psychedelics... The depth they have bequeathed to us. Even the word eloquent.

This is what to me makes English so much more significant. When u start to learn these other languages especially eastern and other languages you realize these people when you boil it down speak like troglodytes. I think it's Carlin that said we think in language so the quality of our thoughts and ideas can only be as good as our language. Go ahead and directly translate some of these language.

Also the evolution of English is quite fascinating but I worry how it's been bastardized in modern times by urban folks or what have you

That is correct. Uproot them from their true legacy is the main goal. They've feared a conscious, Roman revival for... As long as people have been talking about the antiChrist.
