Conditions after successful pinning why is there so much misinformation about fresh air exchange 1

So after having amazing experience with mushrooms I decided to grow my own but online it seems like there is so much conflicting information for something that could be so simple. I have this set up right now in my tub allowing a small hole for fresh air exchange and I mist the top and sides once per day and it seems to be working! Am I on the right track it looks like I have some beautiful pins and want to make sure to nurture them to full mushrooms, I also have it next to the window and try to let fresh air in once per day and get natural sunlight

Take a pic so we can actually see what’s happening inside? Beyond that LITFA and only mist when it’s dry in the surface.

also the reason for misitng is because the humitdy seems to drop to around 80 after 24 hours and from most information I have looked at requires humidity ant 90 but as i know there is so much conflicting information it seems overwelming for a first time grower like myself so I am just trying a little of everything

Why is it on foil? What’s under the foil? How are you keeping the inside of that chamber hydrated?

it is on the foil because I saw some videos of people putting perlite on the bottom and hydrating it with water to maintain humidity, pins are formed so something seems to be going right and just want to make sure at this point I am nurturing them properly to grow into mushrooms, I ate one of the pins already lol

also I am misting the sides and the top of the bin about once or twice per day and my humidity reader seems to maintain 94% humidity for a few hours and then slowly drops to around 88%

What I’m asking is is there perlite under that foil? If so, you need to cut the foil back to only cover the base of the fruiting block. You’re blocking all the evaporation that is meant to keep your block moist

Too much fae(fresh air exchange) from where the tubs meet, and not enough moisture retention(because there appears to be no perlite/coir/water in that tub). Also, what is that fan/heater thing next to the tub? That ain't gonna help one bit. You can take the lid off for a few minutes to take proper pictures of the surface and your set up, it won't hurt it but, it will help us identify any problems.

The humidity seems to stay pretty high overall 80 and up RH I don’t know does it need to be an exact science ? Seems like mushrooms will do there thing no matter what that’s what I’m taking away from this so far as long as you provide something similar to a tropical environment, temperatures always go up and down in nature nothing is always the same

Take the foil out of there. You are defeating the whole purpose of the tek.
