This thread was moved from Mushroom Hunting and Identification.
Reason: Cultivation question.

Meh, it´s a cubensis. A cube from Thailand. There isn´t only a single strict phenotype to each variety, unless it´s very original genetics. Show us a pic of your grow please. Click me

If the smalls have black caps they´re aborts, then pick them. If not, they should be recannibalized into mycelium, them leave them.

That tub looks very dry. Are you fanning or using a heat mat? Is so, don't.

Yes I noticed that yesterday it was super dry idk why but I put a lil water under the cake to help and picked the bigger mushrooms. today I'm just gonna soak them under water for a day I can only check the them once a day I have them in a storage unit inside of a bigger tote with holes and micro pore tape I was thinking about covering all the holes to keep the moisture in it's just been very dry

I was using a fine mister about a foot away when watering all the blue green are the mushroom aborts right? And do you think it's from lack of water instead of bruising from the mist do you think I would be fine to soak them in water with some mushrooms still on the cake

Blue or green colour is usually bruising or mold. Aborts get black caps.

I put a full bottle of sterile water in the tub so the cake is just floating on top not a dunk I figure the cake and mushroom will take what it needs and won't ruin my harvest the cake was pretty much Bone dry there are pin all on the sides so some mushrooms and pins are under water right now if there's any water in the tub tomorrow should I pour it out or keep it in there
