Every time I tripped, tobacco smoke seemed acrid and poisonous. One trip I smoked a few, but it was really in spite of it. Mushrooms made me go vegetarian for 5 years and quit smoking.

Dokha is the biggest tobacco rush you can get. Traditionally or whatever you do it three times a day. Any more and you will lose the effect. It is so strong it makes ripples in your vision. I don't recommend tobacco, but it is worth trying if you smoke tobacco.

Mapacho is a very old type of tobacco it’s used ceremonially from Mexico all the way to South America. It’s very strong and not inhaled, smoked like little cigars
It’s thought to have a protective spirit. You can also try smudging with palo santo or sage if you don’t want to smoke

It's like feedback on an amplifier. You have fears under the influence, so that gets amplified and fed back to you, which leads to greater fears, which gets amplified and fed back to you, which leads to greater fear. Except the amplifier is a hallucinogen that makes you see and experience your fears.
It could be a bad sign. Maybe psychedelics aren't for you. Proceed with caution if you decide to proceed at all.

I don't know if I would call it fear exactly, it was more an illusion of something dangerous. I recognized these illusions as a part of my psyche and view the grotesque nature of these visions as having its own importance along side the typical realizations that come with psychedelics. I very much so plan to continue and am not dissuaded by the proposition of mental anguish.
