I think my family deceived my aunt with dementia

I’m a VERY long time reader of this site and forum but I never noticed this section but it has me thinking.
I recorded my uncle say that my uncle did this. But the uncle speaking is the only one of the two that’s visited my aunt in years.
I truly believe there isn’t much that I can do about that. I’ve called so many lawyers that ignore the story.. even though it’s an exceptionally large amount of value. Marshall university is named after that side of my family.
But what I do have is a large portion of a bank that I recently inherited. The same deceptive uncle is offering me $50/share for the bank. Which, when the bank went private in 2000 that’s the dollar amount they gave to anyone holding less than 200 shares. It was a forced liquidation.
I’m not financially savvy. And I really could use the money.. but I’m having a hard time accepting his offer. It’s a very low offer and he’s using money he’s taken from my family to buy out my family.
I just don’t know what to do. I confronted him on the price and he laughed in my face, literally, and made me feel silly for wanting a more fair price.
If you’re reading this and have any ideas or advice. Please comment. This is a tough situation to navigate.

Unless your uncle is in the executive suite or on the board of directors for the company, approach the company directly to ask them what your options are for liquidating your shares.

You’re right and thank you for the input. Unfortunately that is a problem. He’s on the board and is obvious that the bank personnel are familiar with his wishes as they won’t talk to me but I’m very direct rigid one line answers. And especially will not tell me anything about other sales or any prices that other people have negotiated. Which is to be expected. It’s just strange how their answers are nearly verbatim what he’s said.
