Semi myc is quite slow on agar but it colonizes liquid culture at a normal pace in my experience

The mycelium is looking nice on it. This is T2 counting from LC.

and T3 on agar

It seems the growth has lost that pube-curliness I am used to see, might be coming back later though.
How're things going with your pf cakes? I'm intrigued by this method

Oh those are just pucks which I used as another method to clean things up, was bouncing the culture between BRF-puck and agar as many times as I could before having to start LC and getting the spawn colonized and in the ground before the season starts. Planning to make 14-20 jars of spawn and hoping to recreate the beginners luck from 4 years ago (hope dies last). Will be doing a few cakes again as well.
So far the LC inoculated 6 days ago are looking good. I haven't shaken them yet and the cultures are showing compact, symmetrical growth which is what I was looking for, now I will start shaking them regularly to speed up colonization and to get the spawn/cakes started.

Hello to everyone involved in this experiment.
On my side, i lost all but 1 jar i was trying to colonize using #T0's and #T1 mycellium.
Even the last jar seems to not be doing very well and i think it either stalled or is about do die.
On the bright side, i managed to get some goot #T1 transfers on agar and these seem to be growing well on agar.
I will try to make some more transfers this weekend and once i get to a good ammount of expanded petri dishes i plan to use popcorn instead of grains or straw. ( i don't know how to properly prepare grains and popcorn seems to be more forgiving... )
Here is my latest status update :

Have a good day everyone.
