Advice on making the most of a blundered grow

My first ever grow and it seems to be going OK as there are now some pins. I blundered my way though and have certainly made a lot of mistakes, so I'd like any advice on how to make the best of what I currently have and any tips on where I could improve next time.
Trying to grow cubensis from spores. Rough time line and procedure was:
- ~2 months ago inoculated a 1Kg rye bag. Kept it at perhaps too low a temperature ~22C
- ~1 month ago it had fully colonised.
- ~3 weeks ago went to bulk in coir with small but unmeasured about of gypsum. Spawn to bulk ratio was between 1:2 and 1:3. I think the bulk substrate was a little dry as it only dripped water with an extremely firm squeeze. Maintained temperature probably too low again at 22C.
- ~2 weeks ago the mycelium started to show through the 1cm psudo casing layer of coir on the surface that didn't have any grain in it.
- ~4 days ago there were some obvious pins.
I used a plastic tub with four holes cut in it but taped over with air tight tape. The tub lid is a close fit, but certainly not air tight. The tub sits within a bigger tub containing a heat mat and the outer tub also has a lid which is not air tight. I've opened it infrequently to take photos, perhaps once every four days after it began to colonise the the surface of the substrate.
I was intending on giving it a casing layer, but it had already begun pinning. Right now it looks like this:

There is some fluffy mycelium around the base some of the pins which I think means there is too much carbon dioxide in the tub.
Some questions:
- Does it need fanning for Oxygen?
- Why is it fruiting before fully colonising? The surface is not totally white.
- Does it look dry?
- Is there anything I can do from this stage to increase the chance of success?
- What (obvious) mistakes have I made? Or what things could be improved for next time?

Looks like the coco is dry. Mist strategically to soak it thoroughly without waterlogging pins and fruits.
There seems to be no contamination. Not the best grow, but it looks like you succeeded. Don't bother fanning with tote lid or anything like that, just make sure the tote isn't airtight and the myc will breathe on its own.
Make sure it doesn't dry out. It looks very dry. You may not have nice tall straight mushies but nonetheless they will be
Good luck with the remainder of the tote. Remember, stop fanning.

Also, ditch the heat pad. It will only dry it out and promote contams.
