It kinda looks like your spawn might have been a slight bit bacterial, judging by the color and shape of some of the little ones.
Some mushrooms bruise greenish blue, but I see some nice blue bruises as well. Looks like normal bruising on the big guy imo. I guess they don't like their picture taken. They should be safe to eat as long as they don't feel like mushy slime and smelly funky. You can always boil them in tea to be safe.

I appreciate your reply
But doesn't boiling mushrooms reduce their potency?

Not unless you burn them. Some people fry mushrooms.

Hello, I forgot to include these two pics as well.one has yellow stuff..growing on the edge of the dish, and was growing on another dish, both ps cyanescens from a LC.
The pink oyster had what I thought was contaminant, and I know the pic sucks, but is pink. Oyster mycellium pink too? Did I throw away success?
Almost everything is clean except for these, and was just wondering.
Please and thank you

That's moldicus dishotus it comes from deep in the Amazon basin and is known to eat the paint right off a car.

Had a few tubs sitting in a Martha while I was first dialing it in. Didn't yet have a UVC in my mister bucket and it got nasty, spraying the bacteria everywhere. Fixed that but these remain on the sub in the tubs.

These clear brown blobs resist washing away. They seem to inhibit myc growth as well. Anyone seen this before?

Those blobs of jelly are bacteria. Just let the grow do its thing and toss the tub when you feel like it’s done.

😂 I know. It sounds like a comedy of errors, but UVC can be good just about only in this context. Keeps the mister/humidifier innards clean.

These are ovoids I'm working on, but the same thing happened to some semps and they are all stalled out this way. Lesson is don't let the humidifier reduce its pool of water down so far. Smelled like feet.

Here's a pic of healthy pan myc alongside some developing trich. Soon it will explode that familiar gray green blue. You can see the color is slightly off and the growth pattern is different.

This jar sealed shut during the PC cycle and I had a bitch of a time getting it open in the SAB. It had high odds of contamination.

Unmodified lids? Here's a tip: use a screwdriver or something similar and pry it in between the lid and jar. Bend up or down, depending on your lid and jar geometry. The aim is to deform the lid slightly so that pressure can equalize.

So I've just noticed this yellowish gloopy "stuff" in my kit. Everything is healthy on top, almost full pin coverage. I'm wondering if it's bacterial? I did have things a little warm earlier on in the process (following the suppliers instructions like the silly noob I am)

The plan is to ride it out until harvest then give the cake a good rinse before second flushing.

All advice welcome guys and gals
Dylan out

That looks like bacteria. You’ll get your first flush and then the infection will likely weaken the cake enough that you get a secondary mold like trich.

You’re only a few days out from picking, so let it do it’s thing and then toss it.

:whathesaid: fruits means you won. Perfection takes time and is fleeting at best. The best growers still lose tubs sometimes but ya just keep moving forward and getting better.
