When to transfer monotub to fruiting conditions?
    #28631869 - 01/23/24 08:44 AM (4 days, 18 hours ago)

Hey yall! This is my first actual post in the shroomery but ive been aggregating here for months for the best information for beginners. I tend not to navigate the site very well (Honestly too young to remember the prime forum days), and I have heard many mixed opinions with certain aspects I question in my harvesting process.

I currently have a monotub of Amazonian, my temperature and humidity hovers pretty close to 73 Fahrenheit and 92% humidity. The colonization on my thin sublayer on top (a little thicker than I'd like since the sub was kind of clumpy) is 90-95% colonized I would say.

Long story short, whats your guys first sign to switch a tub from colonization to fruiting conditions? Do you look for a first pinset, or just a mostly colonized surface??

Most folks don't differentiate between colonization and fruiting conditions anymore. Go ahead and introduce FAE.

Gonna do that and try to update results. Do you personally run a single fruiting chamber setup from spawn to bulk? I have a tub with 8 holes, and 2 of them are stuffed with poly close to the sub so it maintains climate best and was gonna fill the rest with poly instead of closing them off when colonized
