Habitat: It is growing in potting soil inside of a fiddle leaf fig houseplant. The soil has not been refreshed in probably a year, houwever I did add: Back to Roots indoor houseplant fertilizer a couple weeks ago.
Gills: Same color as mushroom, light yellow. gills come out to edge of cap and create a shaggy/ratty appearance on edge.
Stem: Just under 1cm wide, about 5cm tall
Cap: Flatish, convex? Gilled texture on surface of mushroom cap exterior. About 7cm in diameter
Spore print color: Unknown
Bruising: Unknown.
Other information:

specifically known to colonize flower pots...

I'm most familiar with the species found in the Pacific Northwest - those found in other parts of the world may vary considerably, so always do your own research to find out what grows in your area and what lookalikes you need to be aware of. Understand that many mushroom species cannot be 100% reliably identified by photographs alone, even by an expert, so it may not be possible to go beyond suggesting a probable genus.

Do they? I thought they removed nutrients and were considered a pest? I would’ve left them but have pets that are dumb and would probably try to eat them.

They improve the soil and are beneficial for the plants. But better remove the fruit bodies of your dogs eat them. Don't think they're lethal to dogs but you might get shit and vomit all over the floor 🤮

If the pets don't eat the plants they probably neither would the mushrooms. The latter would in any case wither away in a couple of days. If you're concerned about having mushrooms growing in your indoor plants, perhaps set up a hygrometer since the humidity probably is a bit high.
