LC stalled because all the nutes have been eaten?

Hi all.
Firstly, on a different thread there was a pointer to "the agar thread" with a request to the poster to go there for questions regarding agar. Is there a "liquid culture thread" where I should be asking these LC questions?
Okay, here goes. This is a hobby for me and my fun consists as much from messing around and learning as actually following a tek and growing shrooms. I've got several buckets / tubs / shoeboxes growing successfully due to following good teks, so this is one of those "how does this work", fun questions (for me, anyway). I've been playing around with LCs and on some of the higher concentration ones (2%, even 4%), the mycelium cloud seems to grow to about halfway the volume of the liquid. This one is made with 0.1% LME, just for the heck of it:

It seems to have stalled, and you can see there is only a small cloud of myc at the bottom. Same genetics as for some of my 1% and higher experiments, so the obvious question: did the myc stopped growing because the nutrients have all been utilised?
Kind regards

No the myc has likely stalled because you havenβt swirled it or contamination.

Most certainly stirred it, so guess it's time to take to agar to test for those contams. Happy to say making new agar (precisely for this and three other LCs I want to test) was on my schedule for today already
On stirring: I find different opinions, such as:
- After inoculation, let stand for a week before stirring
- Only stir every other day (or some other frequency) to allow myc to recover
- Don't stir fast enough to form a vortex
- Every so often, stir fast enough to form a vortex so 1) you break up the myc; 2) you oxygenate the liquid
- Set your magnetic stirrer on slow and leave your LC there until you want to use it
Very confusing for a newbie. For this particular LC, I stirred for around 3 hours at a time, and then rested it, in a 24 hour cycle.
Any thoughts?

Iβve only made SSLC like 3 tickets but I literally just hand swirled it for a few minutes 2-3 times a day. Beyond that I have no useful input.
