I love this documentary and rewatch it from time to time. Half way through the fourth time now. It gets a bit sketchy when it makes what sound like scientific assumptions that are a bit of a leap, but alot of it resonates with what I believe psychedelics and life have shown me. The parts that strain scientific credulity are not proven, yet I think they likely reflect truths that cannot (yet) be measured.
I just wanted to share the experience, and see what others think. Note: the video won't play here as it is age-restricted, but if you hit play it offers to take you to YouTube to watch it.

the lengthy video which is very sweet for anyone who is really stoned, relies on declarative statements [about physicists and mystics coming to the same realizations about spirals], and pattern superimposition rather than clear chains of logic and mathematical relationships.
The physicists are not coming to the same realizations, they are working through equations and remarking about the beautiful results (eg. of fractals derived of Mandelbrot equations) while the mystics are just grabbing any correspondence and going "see, I told you..."
I like the visuals, and don't blame you for liking the video, but it is not a replacement for understanding things as they are. Razor blades are not sharpened when kept in small pyramids.

I agree RGV - that is what I was saying about the leaps they make. I do think they reflect possible truths, but are presented in a way that suggests they are truths. Nevertheless, they may well point to truths we have not yet scientifically discovered. It is a bad idea to make statements that have no scientific basis as if they do, but I also think that we should not assme that what we can currently measure is all that is true. I am sure I would have to do more reading to vealuate, but the idea about dark matter connecting everything (and therefore us as well) in the universe is especially intriguing.
