found in NW georgia, said to be a choice edible, I've not yet tried it.. usualy found in this area in pine forrests especialy those with a lot of younger growth
white spore print, hollow stem, gills free from the stem, ridges running around the edge of the caps in line with the gills, for a positive ID they are the only aminita with both the yellow gills and a volva (the reminants of a universal veil)
