Interesting OM , now I'm wondering should I have planted that auto into a solo cup
That bagseed I posted a picture of sprouted November 16th or so it's so small for its age I feel like ... it's been thru some shit
I can't wait to get a tent and light
I'd say start the auto in a 1 to 3 gallon pot, what ever pot it is going to grow up & flower in. Tho of course you can grow a plant/auto in a solo cup. I have a bunch of old bag-seed from over the years and I'm thinking about growing some of them in solo cups, just for the novelty/hobby of it all.
Starting the seed in a shot glass of water is no biggy tho...I'm just always a bit concerned about disturbing the tap-root/roots with autos & potentially stunting them, and part of me likes to start directly in soil.
Yea that one bagseed plant is rather small considering it sprouted on Nov 16th, could just be lack of light and/or ideal nutrition...I've had some small plants/runts that take off once they're happy with the soil/nutes and receive enough light/warmth. More often than not, at the end of summer/come harvest time, most of my plants end up around the same size even if some of them were super tiny and slow and stunted in the beginning of their life.
What sort of light/conditions are they under right now? Just ambient light from inside your house/room?
I too can't wait to get a tent & light...I've still only grown outdoor...Probably won't be until next fall/winter tho since I plan on doing another little outdoor/porch grow this summer, don't want to deal with 2 dif grows at the same time...but yea, I'm excited to see what I can do indoors and experience another way of growing the plant.

They all grow a little bit different but I wouldn't necessarily say easier or more difficult. Indica strains tend to grow short and bushy which makes training a flat canopy easier. Some strains are more prone to mold or powdery mildew. I think OG Kush was one that is notorious for being more tricky to grow.
Mostly they are all pretty similar though.

Wrong.
There are definitely strains that are harder to keep happy. Mildew or mold are 2 reasons, but there are many more. Being finicky with nutrients for instance.
There's also strains where most of the pheno's are lackluster but there's this one pheno, sometimes rare, that's so stellar it's worth digging through for.
Most modern strains are easy to grow and have been bred towards that goal...
BUT...
of the few strains that I find stick out head and shoulders above the rest, at least half of them could be considered harder to grow.
Strains that are harder to grow are absolutely a good thing to try your hand at if you ask me. It furthers your growing capabilities to the extent that you'll end up being a better grower because of the experience it gives you, even though it means you may very well battle your way to harvest from time to time.

OG Kush was a cake walk compared to the 120 day flowering sativa pheno of MTG Seed's B4. Fucking noodle branches, 10 inch internodal space, ping pong ball sized buds. SUPER nute sensitive, and liked a PH of 6.5... not 6.3, not 6.7, just 6.5 Fucking worth it, best weed I have ever smoked.

I don’t have much experience but I can definitely say Sativa heavy stuff is much harder than indicas or hybrids.

Interesting. I wonder why?
Also, just for the record, I can't stop thinking everytime I come to this thread, that mushboy is sitting in a dark room, tripping, and wanking it to classic oldschool porn, under black lights.
I don't know why but I guess he caught me off guard with that one and it's stuck in my head.

That’s just mushboy, he’s alright….
Sativa dominate strains are a bit more difficult to grow because they take almost twice as long to flower. So a bit more finesse with feed times and whatnot…
And mold or bud rot can set in if your not careful… and then it’s All ruined…
But I love sativas and will always be growing at Least a couple…

Those look Amazing. And thanks for the information about Sativas!
Why do you love them? And how do you use them to make you love them. Like for instance do you use Sativa strains to help you sleep or calm down?

Oh nice, by sex them you mean identify the females right? There are enough there the odds are in your favor?
And I had it confused, sorry, I was thinking Sativa was more couch lock when it's actually indica, it's super late here and I've been busy all day
Yeah Sativas are great in the AM for sure. I just don't like the paranoia it gives me sometimes. But in the right set and setting I've had some sativas that were super speedy almost trippy high.
Oh yeah and hash is the bestest

I use to use a printer press screen to hash out trichromes from "mids" that I used to get for like $180 an ounce like 10 years ago, and then my drug dealer apparently got busted and jumped out of his balcony window running from the cops and broke his arm really bad and got arrested.
Thank goodness those ^ days are over.
Thanks for sharing your grow!

@OM - currently I have them under a t5 24w 6400k light that I bought for my peyote And then two other rather cheaper/weaker plant lights on the side
I'm looking into getting this specific set-up https://www.spider-farmer.com/products/new-sf2000-led-grow-light-2x4-grow-tent-kits/
I'm going to certainly put my other autos into gallon grow bags or something similar And I'm going to try some outdoor grows come spring/summer time - looking into companion plants and things like that as I have a huge fear that an outdoor plant has a high possibility of getting some pests of some sort

I'd highly advise AGAINST that.
My personal recommendation is to only eat cannabis, and save smoking for rare occasions when you need that insta high. And leave the epheddra out

Gotta keep those electrolytes up brother!!
Probably need a good boost of protein as well!

Flipped my swirls to 12/12 and have it set on at 7pm off at 7am to help offset temp drops at night. Sucks not being able to check on them until late in the day. Lol
