Anyone else been getting walloped with snow this week? We have got between 20-40cm daily since Sunday. This is the view out my back window. I cleared the gazebo roof off two days ago. I love the snow but this is getting insane.

Here we got dumped on too, yesterday. Not as badly, but still enough to make going outside a pain in the butt.
Im still going outside though.

Yeah we are in like the 4 inch range but with more coming tonight, they are saying up to 6. The zub zero temps were more annoying.

But you can't easily get to all the other states.

I'd be flying anyway if they weren't in the neighbor state area.

I am super into getting snow. It's been a pain as a single parent though. Today is the only day he's gone to school. I took him to work with me yesterday, but he only has so much patience for sitting in an office while I work. With 6 inches of snow coming, there's a good chance they will cancel tomorrow too. Which has used up the full allotment of snow days with several months worth of potential snowy weather to come. My kids school district has 20k kids, and when things get iffy, they just cancel the day. What a pain.

That does suck. And if your ex-wife was around, she would probably be able to care for your son while you were at work.
I don't know the circumstances surrounding your divorce, but it just seems it would have been better for your child if you were still together. I feel that having two parents is the minimum for rearing a child right. If the government made a law tomorrow that heavily restricted divorces when children are involved, I wouldn't complain.

Kids and snow days are difficult. Our job is only appealing to them when they are not there!!!! LOL We have a daycare they can go to when snow happens, but sometimes it closes also. It is definately very challenging. Sometimes they can go to a friends house, if you trust them.

It’s finally above freezing here. Longest sub freezing stretch in a decade according to the weather guy. Four days 🤣

We do play dates with my kid and my neighbor's kids occasionally on snow days. The problem is I run a medium size high end car garage and there is no working from home for that. You can't work on cars that aren't in front of you, and you don't get paid if you don't put in hours.
She is a good mom to be honest. She sees our son often. Things just didn't go the right way for her. I try to take care of her despite the circumstances. Life can be hard...

Nice photos I like the snow
It's really warm here and I've just been bicycling up the mountain. Eating calabrese tangerines
I'm from Ontario and will probably be returning into some snow. Love walking around in it

That is a fat stack of pow! Man, I'd kill for some snow. Last year at Mt Baldy (hours drive from Los Angeles) was ridiculously killer! Powder for days and no one around. This year though's a pittance on the west coast for the slopes.
Suppose I shouldn't really be complainin'...

I'll be out in Utah skiing Park City first week of February. Hope they get a little more action between now and then, but near term forecast shows slightly above average temps across most of the nation.
Deeez is what's I want!
Mt Baldy last season, waiting for Chair 3 to open
