Hi, my name is Nathan. I tried microdosing 2 years ago as a suggested medicine, and it worked great until I ran out. I’m in California, but shrooms in my area is scarce, which is why I’m here. Thank you and peace out

It’s actually really easy to get mushrooms in California. You can literally just get them from any smoke shop.

There was shops selling them anyway but there was a bunch getting arrested for selling them. The decriminalization bill got vetoed by the governor.

What a cuck. I’m sure everyone’s gonna support it now that they’ve gotten a taste. So that’s coming back. It’s just ridiculous how much people are fighting against psychedelic legalization. Man it would help so many people. A lot of traumatized veterans come to mind just for a start.

You and I both know that 99.998% of the mushrooms sold will be used for recreational purposes, with the remaining 0.002% being the justification for that vast majority.
How about we cut the crap and base the argumentation for decriminalization/legalization on the well-established fact that recreational use of psiloc(yb)in is generally safe and has little to no negative side effects.
The whole charade of 'medicinal purposes' just replaces one lie with another.

No, I’m serious. You don’t think it has therapeutic value? Recreational use comes after people recognize that this has serious medicinal & therapeutic value. Yay visuals and all. I think these have a lot more value than just that. Such a negative Nancy. 😘

But can people do crazy stuff when they are on mushrooms etc? Maybe that's why the government is hesitating.

That's always been part of the narrative, although we (here, on s.org) all know that this crazy stuff mostly boils down to posting weird stuff in the conspiracy forum and nothing really harmful. I guess the rationales for the legal status of psychotropic drugs are to a large extent rooted in ultimately conservative and religously-derived constructs. A reappraisal is long overdue and I for one would advocate this to be on the basis of verifiable facts as much as possible. Ultimately, this will have to be synthesized with an ideological framework that results from a political (democratic) process.
My point is mostly that there's a charade being put up on both sides of the divide. The conservatives point towards arguments about crime and health issues that are incorrect, extremely rare or the result of illegality rather than the substances themselves. The legalization lobby uses arguments about medicinal use that turn out to be only relevant to a minority of users, and will downplay health effects as much as the conservatives exaggerate them. There's a lot of dishonesty on both sides, so I feel it's justified if there are voices in the community that warn against both (any) kinds of bullshit.

I think therapeutic values a lot higher than less than one percent. That just seems really pessimistic.
I mean cmon…
