How's it looking?

I've got two tubs going right now. One is ksss and one is golden mammoth. Both tubs look very similar. Only ksss shown. . Helpful information: spawned to bulk (coir and verm) on 1-5-24 and holes drilled 1-9-24. The temperature has been between 68f and 74f.

When do you think it'll start pinning? I'm very impatient and I thought it would be much further along by now

It looks great be patient it's all you can do unless you want to start eating your substrate and I do not recommend that
If you stop watching it then it will stop growing
No but seriously give it a couple weeks

Lol please don't go there, your not the only one in the exact same situation. All I'm saying is be patient it takes some time.
Or better yet read some grow logs in the mean time and see how long it's taken others.
Why does everybody get butthurt these days if you don't say everything just the way they want to hear it?
Google might give you some nicer answers if you can't take a joke from time to time.
Sorry but your post seemed lazy to me, plenty of other people don't make posts asking that kind of stuff they use the search feature and figure it out themselves.
You didn't give any details except I'm impatient when will it pin?
Well temperature makes a huge difference how is anybody going to give you an answer without details?
Lazy post, joke answer.
It's sad you seem upset over something so stupid, you posted a picture and asked when will it pin? Not does it have contamination? Or something we don't need other details to answer correctly.

You've got a point about this being a lazy post and so I've fixed it. Thank you for that. I thought all the important info was in the pic but maybe not.
I don't know where you're getting the butthurt stuff. I just thanked you for replying. I have a feeling you're more upset at someone or something else.
No painfully asses here, just love.

Sorry thanks dude seemed like a smart ass remark to me. Text can be hard to interpret.
I'm all love as well sorry buddy I think it's some of the stupid things people say on here at times. I'm all for helping but there is only so much you can do.
Patience is a part of this hobby, be glad you only have a couple weeks at best instead of having to start over from grain spawn like a lot of people that spawn to bulk and get contaminated along the way.

Pictures from today. The cracks occurred when I had to move the tubs and set them on something uneven. Could the cracks be slowing the tub down or effecting it in some way? I'm guessing yes.

My old eyes can't tell whether the white spots are mycelial or water droplets. If they are mycelial, you are close to goodness.

The very tiny ones are water droplets I'm pretty sure. Both tubs have a bunch of aerial mycelium that I thought were gonna be pins but so far haven't shown any sign of pinning ( to my novice eye)
What are opinions on adding a hole on the bottom of the ends of the tub for more fae?
They are uncased with surface grains if that matters.

just let it do its thing. if you dont see pins in a few more days to a week then maybe consider adjusting fae. different genetics can behave differently.

What do you think about the cracks?
I think those were caused by you, from holding a hand under the bottom and by so, pressing the substrate up and causing cracks?
Possibly then actually a bit dryish substrate? Anyways, if it works it works! (but next time try not to crack it. Though possibly it has beneficial effects, I am not aware of).
Edit: added strikethrough. Will happen with wet substrate also. More cause in status of growth I think. The dryer the more bricky and UNCRACKABLE.
