I have received spores from Yoshi Amano with wild subtropicalis, zapotecorum and Muliercula in the same package:

Psilocybe muliercula "Encinal 2" - iNaturalist ID# 183989463.
Psilocybe zapotecorum "Encinal 2" - iNaturalist ID# 182994374.
Psilocybe subtropicalis "Tres Soles" - iNaturalist ID# 183989689.

Zapotecorum and Muliercule coming soon. These ones are defintelly Subtropicalis. Phenotype, taste and structure.

Really happy to see you tackling some of Mr Amanos wild collected stuff. You are definitely the man for the job.

I ate 15+? grams fresh today

Took like 2 hours to come up, somewhere in there I ate another mouthful because I was confused that not much was happening. Once it hit me I quickly came into a symbolic death. What a feeling it is to be rotting in the ground. When I was able to surrender I was encompassed within a column of angels.

A very unsubtle reminder that this life is a miracle and a gift. Love to all of you.

Has anyone had luck isolating a strain that fruits well without a casing layer? That was my goal for the first try at semps. I did three different T1 plates to bags hoping to increase diversity. 3 weeks after full colonization I got one pin lol... That was 11 days ago. So I gave up today and cased all three. I'm still planning to clone the first fruit to see how it goes with an isolation.

How long does the "slow" variety take? After 11 days my first pin is now 3/4" tall. I thought Nats were slow, but this is just painful. Is the consensus that slower is stronger? I saw a few people debating this a while back.

Mine all took about 40 days from S2B to finish fruiting first flush
