Storing LSD 25 in a metal container a good idea?

Hello all. I am new here and I was wondering if you all could answer a question that I simply cannot find the answer to anywhere else online. None of my friends can seem to tell me either.
If you were to store a sheet of white blotter of LSD 25 on the bottom of a closed metal container with the sheet in direct contact with the metal surface of the container (not wrapped in aluminum foil or closed inside a plastic bag or anything else like that) for a long time (say upwards of a year and half) would it lose a lot of potency or worse, be ruined? I have never once found any information warning against such a storage practice. The bottom line seems to be that as long as the acid is kept out of exposure to heat, light, and moisture, it should last for years.

I mean, I've heard of it being fine wrapped in aluminium foil, but aluminium passivates itself with a layer of oxide. Basically some metals form a layer that keeps them from reacting with things.
It seems possible that some metals might be problematic in some way but I can't think of one that is used for containers that I would expect to be a problem.
But... I can only speculate having not stored any acid that way and then tried it later.

No, I suppose I don't have to. I did so because it seemed like the most secure place for it at the time (it is a safe deposit box, so other valuables are kept in there as well.) It seemed like a good option for protecting from heat, light, and moisture, and I also have had some anxiety about losing it somehow, which is why I didn't opt for other storage options I have heard of like sock drawers or the pages of a book.

I think that you're good with a safe deposit box.

That was what I was worried about. What if some sort of chemical reaction occurred on contact over time, either rendering the acid less potent, completely devoid of potency, or worst of all, poisoned with heavy metals somehow? This last seems to be unlikely though, given that I have taken some of this particular sheet in combination with newer LSD blotter (and with shrooms) a few times and so I have as yet to assess its potency completely on its own.
The last time, for instance, I took about three hits from the old, metal-exposed sheet first, and then some newer acid about three hours later that was not stored in such a way. I was feeling a body buzz and other mild "come up" sensations, but things didn't really seem to take off until i dropped the newer acid in (things really picked up about an hour after I took this newer stuff). I am sometimes rather slow in getting into the depths of a trip, so the three hour "mild" high isn't necessarily proof positive to me that there has been a reduction in potency as it has happened before. I suppose next time I will take just the old stash from the box and see what happens over the course of six or seven hours or so. I just figured that before I put any more of this stuff in my body I would see what people here had to say.
I am no chemist, which is why I am appealing to the possible chemistry knowledge and general experience of forum members here. From what I have been able to find, "leeching" of heavy metals into things like food only seems to occur when the metal is heated (which is why it is dangerous to cook with cookware made from certain types of metals.) To be specific, it is an old safety deposit box, probably dating back to the early part of the 20th century. I am unsure of the exact alloy.

I can't promise you that it will last forever like that, but you could wrap it in foil or something too.

Yes I suppose it's better late than never to start in on the whole foil thing. Incidentally I bought some the other day so I think I'll do that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.

Should be fine in a metal lock box.
