I am prescribed ketamine for severe psychological trauma, for allowing me to sleep, and it has had a positive impact on nurturing my c-ptsd. Of course, you are doing all the right things to start off with, and ketamine may indeed help you
Ketamine can show you everything if you combine it with a psychedelic that'll keep you awake. You will just have your ego dissolved and you will see the most beautiful fractals and patterns, and that could benefit you. Just a thought, I am not suggesting this, I would wait a while on doing that. You're dealing with some pretty bad trauma, and talk therapy, art, journaling, meditation, and maybe some medication either short term, or perhaps long term. Ketamine is a very easy substance to stop using. Whatever it takes to make it easier on you, I condone. I believe you can get through this. It's a lot. I can't even fathom what you are going through...but I would say that you should continue to journal, draw/paint/do art of some kind, write poetry, read books, meditate...anything to pass the time. Time will heal all wounds.
If you take, say, 100-150mg of ketamine a day, you'll see results. I am surprised it isn't prescribed more often
If you get it compounded in capsule form, there is a cutting agent, so it's just best to take orally, or yes, it also works sublingually. It doesn't dissolve well in any drink so if you plan on taking that route, you'll have to drink said drink super fast. Ketamine doesn't taste good. Also pro tip, if you put it in soda, the soda will fizz, a lot, so I would just mix whatever dosage you think you need to take. I dont know the maximum dosage that I can be on ketamine, but 150mg is plenty for most.

I will next time I see him, but I don't know if it is used in the same manner. I believe they developed it to be used similarly to IV ketamine treatments due to its quick onset of action. I wouldn't mind taking that route, as I would not have to wait as long, and I always take it before I go to bed, so it will just make going to bed that much easier.
I almost always just open the capsules and pour out maybe 120mg and set the rest of the capsule aside. Dosage varies day to day, but I take about 100mg on average. Some days I take the full 150mg.
I've never tried IV ketamine infusion centers, nor have I inquired about esketamine. I may...have to hold off on asking my doctor about that. He would think I would be abusing. Nah, just more convenient, but I don't want him writing a prescription if he cannot legally do so. The capsules are fine, I usually swish it around in my mouth, my mouth goes numb, then I take a mint and pass out
